We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Wesely and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
After working impatient in the hospital setting for awhile and during Covid, I developed a strong desire to be on the otherside of healthcare, a more preventative one. While I did enjoy seeing sick patients who needed medical nutrition therapy to help their disease/injury, I wanted to become a practioner that could help prevent that disease in the first place- and that’s how Radiate Nutrition was born. At Radiate Nutrition, we help busy people completely change their wellness habits in nutrition, activity, sleep and more to support health longterm. With our whole person approach, we help our clients radiate from within so that they can live their fullest lives.

What should our readers know about your business?
There are so many things that set Radiate Nutrition apart from other similar businesses. We live in a world of diet culture where we are told, “eat this and not that,” “do this crazy restrictive diet,” and much more. At Radiate Nutrition, we don’t believe in fad diets nor quick result approaches. We believe in science and that meaningful, long-term change, takes time. We meet our clients where they are and use personalized nutrition plans and education to help them evolve in the midst of their busy lives in a way that is never overwhelming. Through this approach, our clients leave us with results and a new way of life.

Opening a business has been challenging! The most challenging part was actually doing it but I’m so happy that I did. I took long and intentional time to develop our signature 12 week Nutrition Transformation Program to ensure it provides all the tools to help someone be successful. Thanks to our amazing clients, it has proven to be successful time and time again and I feel so fortunate to be a part of so many peoples wellness journeys!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love this question!! I love to explore and try new food. Here’s my list:

Activities: definitely a hike close by in the mountains, an Avalanche game, hang out at Sloan’s Lake and go to a concert at Red Rocks.
Eats: Bao Brewhouse, Denver Central Market, Rush Bowls, Spuntino.
Drinks: Welton Room, Zuni St. Brewery, Ghost Donkey and Bigsby’s Folly
Coffee: Brew Culture and Weathervane Cafe

Just being in the vibrant city of Denver is so special. It’s beautiful, relaxed, and people here are so kind.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shout out my husband, Cody. He has always given me unwavering support as I have chased (and continue to chase) my dreams to run a small business. I am eternally grateful!
