Hi That Friends House, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Family and community is the most important factor behind the success of ‘That Friends House.’ It is our mission to bring life and love back into the heart of city, and that’s why we chose coffee and tea. While that may not be our passion, people and healing is, and delivering that one cup of coffee or tea, or giving someone their first crystal allows us to reach so many more souls!

What should our readers know about your business?
That Friends House was pulled directly from the imagination of our inner child. One random day, we suddenly decided to look for a retail/living space and 2150 Curtis St. appeared out of nowhere. Immediately our soul jolted into motion, and we began the process of manifestation on the property. Fastforward 5 months, and we officially moved into Curtis St. highlighting the quantum capabilities of the property. The house had been on the market for years before we even viewed it, it became evident it was ours. Within that time span we created a business plan, accumulated the required funds, went halfway insane, found out we are having a baby and finally moved into That Friends House, Five Points, ready to restore the community and help lead the people back to self. TFH is a metaphysical cafe created to be a spiritual travel center for souls to come and express themselves freely. We offer coffee and tea based on the 12 zodiac signs as well as 5 smoothies based on the 5 elements (Fire Water Air Earth Aether). We also offer holistic healing crystals charged to deliver you healing in your desired area of imbalance. Last but not least, we have a podcast/recording studio in the back called, The Basement, where we will host a highly conscious podcast exploring the minds of the collective while simultaneously creating an ancient, futuristic, wave of music centered on healing, truth, freedom, justice, and equality! Getting to this point was a trial turned easy, due the amount of love that we have for each other and our ability to transmute that energy into our business and back into ourselves. The only reason we have the ability to help our community now, is because we choose to love ourselves first, and self-love is everlasting, it is our greatest superpower as human beings. We are currently in the process of opening our doors and plan to commence travel beginning in July!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The day would start at the house, Tori is an amazing chef, and we love just existing with our people. After a delicious breakfast we would walk down Curtis St. and take our friend to 16th Street Mall to “experience downtown.” At some point during the weekend, we’d definitely take them down to graffiti alley on Larimer and go enjoy some drinks at one of those bars down there. Many to pick from, but really not our cup of tea, so we’d probably end up just getting some food from Wellness Shushi or Randalls. Then head over to city park and enjoy the lovely perks of amendment 64 after visiting our friends at Standing Akimbo. Another place that we’d be sure to take a friend is, Ritual Alchemy Goods, or herbs and arts to provide our friend with some spiritual healing from other healers in the community. There’s so much to do in the city if I’m being honest, we would probably just be at TFH the majority of the time and might walk down to the Five Points to “get out of the house”.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Huge shoutout to our family who have believed in us and invested their love into us, they never questioned the vision or anything and have supported us and actually put our vision into motion.
