Meet Zach Hose | Podcaster & Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zach Hose and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zach, what do you attribute your success to?
I want to preface this by saying I don’t think I’m the most successful person in the world. When I refer to my “success,” I simply mean that my podcast has gotten more positive reception that I could have imagined.
That being said, I’d 100% contribute any success that I’ve had to the support I’ve received. Whether it’s the guests taking the time to come on the podcast to share their passions, the people that have listened, liked or shared on social media, or even the verbal support I’ve been given. This whole project wouldn’t be possible without all the incredible support and encouragement I’ve received. And for that, I’m externally grateful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m most proud about the fact that all of my podcast conversations are genuine. Yes, they’re all unedited and unscripted, but the genuine interest and flow of conversation is authentic. Whether I know the guest or not prior to the conversation, I genuinely value their time and willingness to share their stories. Having guests on the podcast has led to lifelong connections and that’s something I’m extremely grateful for.
I got to where I am today mainly with all the support that I’ve received from others. That support has given me a lot of confidence and motivation to go after my passions and the things that I love. Also, definitely would attribute a significant amount of luck to leading me to where I’m at today!
It definitely wasn’t easy. It’s taken a lot of hard work and determination. Any challenges that I’ve had to overcome, I was mainly able to do so through the support and encouragement of others. Also, a lot of luck!
A major lesson that I’ve learned is to try not to be your own biggest critic, and to always remember your “why.”
I want the world to know that I truly believe everyone has at least one thing that they’re passionate about. Whatever you’re passionate about, spend your time and energy on it. A passion doesn’t have to turn into your career/job. Do what you love because life is too short not to. Also, if you want to talk about your passion with me, reach out (:

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, I’m currently residing in Michigan so this might not apply to all the viewers here. But, if you’re in Metro-Detroit, Michigan. I’d recommend some of the larger cities like Ann Arbor or Detroit. Both have a lot of fun activities and restaurants!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly, I just want to thank every single person that’s ever supported me and my endeavors. From friends, family, friends of friends, professors, co-workers. I wouldn’t be who I am or have done a lot of the cool things I’ve done without the overwhelming level of support I’ve received.
