The most valuable lesson my business has taught me is the importance of having a career in a field that you are passionate about. I would have to say that the most important lesson I learned fueled my passion for my current business. That lesson is that self-nurturing (self-care) is essential. I had normalized exhaustion in pursuit of a successful career/life. As a result, I was mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted.
