We are so inspired by the businesses in our community because of how many of them are committed to helping to make the world better than it is today. Check out some great businesses below and how they are helping others.

Delwin and Melissa Marrero | Personal trainer and 2nd grade teacher

Our business helps the community by giving them access to science-based fitness tips, recipes, and workouts right at their fingertips. Our community members know that our main goal is to battle misinformation about the fitness industry and provide quality information based on real data and not “miracle cures.” When trying to lose weight, most people get on super restrictive diets that can hurt their physical health, mental health, social life, wallets, and are not sustainable. We are here to teach people that it is possible to be happy, not go broke, lose weight the healthy way AND keep it off. Read more>>

When I started whoishan, my two priorities were that my packaging was as sustainable as possible and my stickers were affordable. My business is committed to making art accessible to EVERYONE in the form of stickers. A handful of them have messages centered around body positivity, confidence, and kindness. My favorites are “Don’t Let Your Mind Bully Your Body” and “Note to Self: Stop Worrying About What Strangers on the Internet Think of You!” The more people can spread these messages to others when they have them on their water bottles or computers, the better! This year we are finishing producing a suicide prevention movie for our county, Eagle County Colorado. Jayme Ward | Co-Founder & Executive Director

Far Away Friends was founded back in 2014 by me and my friend, Collines Angwech. We met when I was just a high school student with no idea what I wanted to do when I grew up, except that I wanted to make a difference in the lives of kids. While on tour with the nonprofit “Invisible Children” visiting high schools like mine and sharing her story of growing up during the LRA War in northern Uganda, Collines shared with me her vision of making great schools accessible to kids in rural villages. The first question out of my mouth was, “How can I help make that vision a reality?” Read more>>
