What are you inspired by?

One of our favorite things to do is to ask the folks we are inspired by what they are inspired by. We’ve shared some of their responses below.

Living in four different countries has opened my eyes to various cultures and languages. However, what they all have in common is the uniqueness of nature, which has always fascinated me. Nature is a great source of inspiration and makes me feel alive. I love to explore new places, meet new people, and learn about their cultures. Being in Colorado right now makes it easy to see the many color schemes inspired by this state’s natural beauty, including earthy tones, vibrant wildflowers, and serene mountain vistas. Read more>>

We are a bunch of die hard Colorado football fans who wanted to drive engagement and passion for the CU program. While at CU as students we created the Folsom Frenzy student group which was designed to improve the game day experience for students during some really lean years. With Coach Prime’s ascent in Boulder and the influx of new fans we decided to get back together to be the voice of long time fans who stuck with the program through thick and thin. Read more>>

I treat each waking moment as ‘studio time,’ drawing inspiration for my artwork from the intricacies held within subjectively mundane moments. Mending clothes, leaving my window cracked open to hear crickets chirp in the springtime, and people-watching at the local park are just as crucial to my practice as sitting down with a pen and paper. This expansive form of expression continuously shapes how I intend to approach any artistic medium; with patience, child-like wonder, and a sprinkle of humility. Read more>>

What inspires me about being part of C.A.S.T for Kids is we get to take 40 disabled and disadvantaged kids fishing and give them an amazing and fun day outdoors. It is so inspirational to see the happiness on the kids faces, and the community come together to make this event happen knowing everyone is there for the same purpose of helping others, giving back, and enjoying life.
