Feeling stifled and unoriginal, I realized many stories I wanted to tell mirrored classic tales. That led me to explore the idea of universal themes, which I discovered are the key ingredient to any timeless story. Shared experiences like love, coming of age, betrayal, and self-discovery offer a platform for modern reimaginings of beloved literary works.
