My greatest inspiration is real people and their authentic stories. I love getting to know my clients and hearing their stories, and I am so inspired by other women who are doing great things in my community. I’ve never been very star struck or obsessed with celebrities, or fame at all. I think every day people are the most fascinating, and I love hearing where they have been and how they got to where they are. In my business, I often get on a real personal level with my clients, and it is part of the reason I love what I do. I truly am inspired every day by every day people I get to meet. Read more>>

Inspiration is a wonderful process. I find myself drawn to people who are willing to try new things, who are able to move through life with empathy and who are living from a place of kindness. I seek out these stories every day as a way to connect to what truly matters in life. We all have a past and we all have some issues within us that can knock us to our knees. Those people who are willing to be vulnerable and dive into the discomfort zone are able to show growth and change. To me, these people and their stories are so inspiring!. Read more>>

We live at such a unique time in history. In my professional life as a classical musician I’m surrounded by stories and ideas on a regular basis, both through the art itself and the amazing people that share music with the world. The bigger and clearer our picture of the universe becomes, the smaller we are, which I think is a really beautiful idea to grapple with. Without some sort of intrinsic meaning to life handed to us by the universe, what we do with our precious short time becomes so much more important. Read more>>
Justin Hooper | Musician/ Music Teacher
I am inspired by continual curiosity. My first job out of college was at a private school, and their motto was “Education is not the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire”. When I write a song, I want it to spark curiosity in the listener. I want to give people permission to dig deeper into big life questions, and to give them permission to be okay not having all of the answers. Also, when I teach music, I want my students to see music as a mystery to be discovered, not just simply notes to be played. Everyone is wired differently, so the way everyone experiences music is different, and it is always a joy to see what ends up making it click for someone. Read more>>

I am inspired by so many things but my biggest influence is probably art in its many forms. I’m always looking at art and reflecting on how art has impacted history. Decorative arts are one of the biggest inspirations I turn to in my own work, especially decorative pieces from the 17th and 18th centuries. Read more>>
