I think lately I’ve been thinking more about the mundanities. Of course, there are the big sources of happiness: my partner, my dogs, etc but I think the small sources of happiness often go overlooked. Wandering around a place and not worrying if I’ll get lost makes me happy; my sense of direction is terrible. Watching movies with friends and just enjoying the moment makes me happy. I really enjoy making time for creativity. It’s a good opportunity to center myself against the stress of everyday life and work. Through photography, we can learn to see things differently through a new lens or angle. It a great thing to readjust your viewpoint from time to time.
