How it works. Refill shops are becoming more and more common, but for many people it still seems a novel or somewhat exotic way to shop. Before the big plastic boom, buying by weight and reusing containers was much more standard. In a short time, however, we’ve become quite used to purchasing prepacked products and then tossing out the package, which almost includes a little or a lot of plastic. Which is true, we all have nice cameras on our phones these days. But what people don’t realize is the amount of money and time I’ve invested in my equipment and knowledge.
