We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Tadlock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal, why did you pursue a creative career?
I thoroughly enjoy entertaining and curating a fun atmosphere for people (and dogs) to kick back, relax and have a memorable evening.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I originally grew up in Wisconsin and would frequently hang out in my Grandpa’s bar. After college, I worked as a sales representative for Beverage distributors and Mile High Distillery before owning a tavern. So, I had the background knowledge of curating a cocktail menu I have always enjoyed the thrill of thrifting, so I incorporated vintage clothing in to the tavern. I love watching patrons excited about their finds that I hand selected.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My partner Troy, encouraged me to purchase a tavern in Ouray, CO. I would accredit him with the reason of the buying the business.
