Meet Naomi Amaya Love

We had the good fortune of connecting with Naomi Amaya Love and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naomi, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
The beautiful thing about my work is the larger impact it carries — both subtle and profoundly clear. As you heal and become more of yourself, as you learn to navigate your inner world with awareness, you open new access points in the field of collective consciousness. These openings make it easier for others to find their way toward wholeness as well.
When one person comes into greater harmony within, that balance naturally blesses their family, strengthens relationships, and influences the wider web of community. The more we are well within ourselves, the more we radiate that frequency of wellness to those around us.
This healing reaches beyond the human realm. Living in right relationship with your heart and your own being cultivates deep gratitude for life, for the land, and for the plants and animals who share this world with us. As we honor them, we awaken a reciprocal relationship that nourishes all of life. Animals feel this shift too. When they are seen, heard, and loved, they thrive beside us.
My work is devoted to helping you remember who you are, so that through your remembrance, the whole world moves closer to its own.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a devotional artist, I live life as ceremony. My art is the living expression of that devotion — a constant practice of listening, tending, and being in right relationship with the unseen and the seen. I walk in reverence with nature, the elements, the animals, and the people whose lives weave with mine. Every space I create and every offering I share is an act of devotion to the holy, the whole, and the well.
What I am most proud of is how my work continues to evolve through me. It has not been an easy path. It has been one of continual surrender, refinement, and remembering. My medicine has shaped me as much as I have shaped it. Each season, it reveals another layer of truth, teaching me how to live what I offer.
What sets my art apart is that it does not come from a technique, system, or lineage I follow — it arises from my lived experience, my devotion, and my direct relationship with the divine. I am the vessel and the living field through which this work moves.
When people come to sit with me, it is not about what I do. It is about what happens in the space between us — the field that awakens when we remember who we truly are. That is the art. That is the medicine.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, I would begin with a hot yoga class at Yoga Pod to settle into the body and clear the mind. Afterward, we would stop at Wonder for a nourishing smoothie, then wander along the river toward Settlers Park. We would pause at the red stones to make offerings and lay down prayers, honoring the land and its spirit.
From there, we would come back to my temple home for some rest and tea, a quiet space to integrate and breathe. In the evening, I would take them to Upstairs at the Kitchen for a beautiful dinner, where we could linger over good food and conversation.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My path has been shaped by both the magic and the challenges. I am deeply grateful to the teachers who have guided me along the way. Jyoti Wind was one of my first teachers, a loving and wise mentor who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. I give thanks to my ancestors for dreaming me into being, and to the many clients and students I have had the honor of walking beside over the years. Because of you, I have grown, refined my craft, and deepened in devotion.
And I want to honor myself as well. I am the alchemy of everything I have walked through. It is through navigating the wildness of this world — and through all I have learned, practiced, and lived with my clients — that I am able to share the medicine I carry today.
