We had the good fortune of connecting with Davie Fuller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Davie, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
It’s no secret that our communities are struggling right now. With everything that’s happening, people are living in fear and operating from a frame of mind that isn’t conducive to cultivating strong community bonds. When we operate from a space of fear, or from core wounds and trauma, we lose sight of our inner knowing and our inner purpose. And that’s why my ability to help others feels more important now than ever. In my work as a Medium, I help individuals overcome mindsets of fear, heal from past trauma, and approach life from a perspective of humility and gratitude. When individuals start to do this, they realize their inner knowing and create deeper, more substantial connections with others. They also start pursuing more meaningful work and living out their purpose. These are the characteristics of a strong, healthy community and this is what I seek to provide to those that I sit with.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Some people call me an Intuitive, and some call me a Medical Medium, but I typically refer to myself as a Medium. My work is focused around empowering the people who I sit with to help them confront and heal their past traumas by bringing these things to conscious awareness for processing. These methods are supported by research and rooted in psychology, but guided by something much deeper – and that is my gift. This is something I am generally proud to offer the world, but I am especially filled with pride when I think of all of the clients who I have helped to transform into people that are more intimately familiar with their inner knowing and their life purpose. 5 years ago, I was a single mom of three with a lucrative career in real estate living in a million dollar home… I had everything society told me I needed, but I was miserable. I had succumbed to the trap many of my clients now come to me eager to escape: I had been seeking value in “things,” endlessly chasing a threshold of attainment that doesn’t truly exist. The result was a feeling of scarcity and fear rather than of abundance and clarity. In a turn of events, my real estate work quickly dried up and I lost close-to-everything. In this time of loss, I realized that the freedom from these belongings granted me the space to start asking myself questions I had stopped asking myself long ago. So I started to examine my life and the source of my unhappiness. At the recommendation of my now husband, I started seeing my Guru, Mitch, on a regular basis. I started studying Sanskrit and exploring what it meant to look inwardly. After some time of visiting with my Guru, he said something to me, which he learned from his Guru. He said, “Davie, humility is the way home.” And, with this, something clicked. I realized that I had been chasing the wrong things in my life. I thought I could build a home around the life society told me I needed to have, when in reality, I should have been building my life around my greatest passion: helping people with my gift. The truth was that I had already been doing Medium work for some time, guiding friends and family through their traumas and fears, helping them to escape unwanted cycles… the universe was simply nudging me to commit myself fully to it. So, one day, I did. I restructured my life and leaned into my purpose as a Medium, and I have never felt more connected to my intuition or my true self. Humility led me to this career and it’s one of the things I am most excited about helping my clients find. Through this path, I have discovered my inner purpose and have made a career out of it. I live a fuller, healthier, more intentional life helping people do the same for themselves, and that is something I am supremely grateful for.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Friday Spend the evening at the Santa Fe Arts District. This is one of my favorite parts of town and also a place where my artwork, under the name Niki Stearman, has been shown. Many studios work with some of the world’s greatest artists, and host artwork from new and upcoming artists too. Art is an extension of my medium work and this place in particular is where I find great inspiration. Saturday Dinner at True Food in Cherry Creek. If you’re vegan like me, you have to try their beet burger. It is out of this world, especially with a side of sweet potato mash. True Food is great about managing dietary restrictions, making sure that things aren’t cross-contaminated, and their food is fresh fresh fresh. Plus, they have some great cocktail alternatives like kombucha and virgin bellinis. See a show at the Denver Center for Performing arts. The DCPA is a cornerstone of Denver’s art and culture scene. A few of my favorite shows here are Les Mis, Kinky Boots, or the Symphony. Book tickets in advance, though, because the best shows go fast! Sunday Lunch at City, O’ City. This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Denver and they’re great for any time of day. They have options for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner! Their vegan pizza is a must-have. Monday Weekdays are a great day to sneak in a hike at the Table Mesa in Golden, CO. Trails are generally less busy and this gives you more space to really settle into your surroundings. After your hike, be sure to check out the Golden Rock Shop. This is one of my favorite shops for crystals and other quirky finds; one of my favorite personal finds here is my beautiful, museum-grade amethyst. It’s hard to leave without something to add to your collection!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would not be where I am today without my Guru, Mitch Rosacker. I came to Mitch with severe childhood trauma; a life which was a product of the slew of bad decisions I had made in my past and newly sober. It was at The Self Discovery Studio that he gave me a safe place to heal. In the trauma work that I do with clients, I tell them that our safe connections are the foundation of our healing journey. It is through those positive reinforcements that we are able to process our trauma and learn new ways of coping, healing and living. Mitch was and still is all of those for me. Mitch is a soft soul and I connected with him right away. He has saved my life in so many ways and my gratitude for him is truly indescribable.
