We had the good fortune of connecting with Pierre Banco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pierre, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
The crazy thing is that, I have been dealing with music my whole life. From a baby on up. Music always played a part in my life. My family is real big in music also. From my grandfather, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Everyone has pretty music paved the way for me. It took me till this year to figure out this is for me. Music.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a music artist. I don’t really like to call myself a rapper, because I’m more than that. I get inspiration from other genres and add my flavor to it, ya know, make it my own. I’m really be on versatility. In my city (Nashville) the hip hop scene is upcoming and coming, which I’m blessed to have a small part on showcasing hip hop in Nashville. It’s really kinda looked over due to the country scene but it’s definitely being heard. Since 2012 I’ve be working on build my brand and making a name for my music. Now in 2021, im getting to push even harder and distribute my craft to the masses. Also dipping in different avenues such as food and clothing. We are in the works, and hopefully we can get it out really soon.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Man Nashville is growing so it’s new stuff to do everyday. Most definitely have to get some Nashville hot chicken. It’s a couple spots. I’m a pretty lowkey person, so I’m usually working on music and chilling at the house with my wife and children. Nashville is cool though.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
S/o to God first. Then my family. Without them, there is no Banco. Also much love to the fans of my music. It’s growing everyday. Appreciate all of y’all.
