We had the good fortune of connecting with Aleah Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aleah, how do you think about risk?
I have always been taught that opportunities and risks go hand in hand, so risks have never held any negative connotations for me. The willingness to take risks is the only reason I have achieved any success in life, so I plan to keep taking those leaps of faith!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I always had a passion for the entertainment industry. My first year of college, I applied to intern at the Disney College Program, and flew to Orlando to audition to be a character performer. After learning I passed the audition and had earned the position, I took my first leap of faith and moved to Disney World! Studying under the world’s top magic makers fueled my ambition and equipped me with the tools needed to compete in the professional world.

After my Disney internship, I transferred to Film School, earned my Bachelor Degree in Producing, and landed another internship with Starz Entertainment as a Production Assistant. Working for Starz was another exciting adventure, advancing my skills in the television and film industry. A couple years into my Production Assistant journey, Lionsgate acquired Starz and I was let go.

Losing my dream job was devastating, but I had no idea it would be one of the best things that could have ever happened to me. I immediately applied for a job at Crew Connection as a crew coordinator and quickly fell in love with the company. Six years later, the founder of Crew Connection made me the offer of a lifetime; the chance to purchase her amazing company.

July 1st 2022, I officially became the new owner of Crew Connection! Becoming a business owner is by far the scariest thing I have ever done, but the risk was completely worth the reward. Everyday I learn something new and continue to surprise myself. I am incredibly proud to be the owner of such an amazing company and will do whatever it takes to honor the founders legacy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Denver is an absolute blast and a foodie’s dream! When I have friends here from out of town, we always start with a hike or a climb at Red Rocks. After a great workout with breathtaking views, we hit the town for lunch. Old Town Arvada has amazing restaurants and shops and is very kid friendly. For Mexican food fans, Teocalli is an absolute must! After a delicious lunch, we take our kids to Scrumptious for some ice cream and sweet treats!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I couldn’t agree more! Where would we be without the supportive people in our lives? My shoutout goes to my parents. From day one they have supported all my dreams, and did whatever they could to help me achieve them. My parents are also goal oriented go-getters, so observing their ambitions has always lit a fire in myself as well. I am so grateful for their mentorship, guidance, support and unconditional love. My Mom always says, “surround yourself with greatness, and you will become great!” Well, they certainly are the greatest people I could ever hope to be surrounded by!
