We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Ricciardelli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alex, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
What a question! WIsh I thought more when I was doing it, which probably would’ve been a better idea haha my only thought process was survivial. It was a bright sunny day and I had just got laid off from my job after saving their entire department from a catasphe. In the beginning of the pandemic, I was reselling anything and fixing computers to pay bills but then I realized that wasn’t going to be too profitable. So I switched to something more profitable, building websites which I was doing since a young age. I was designing a couple peoples websites in town but I wanted to take it to the next level. I reached out to several companies as a partner and Wix had responded, giving me a chance. I failed but that didn’t stop me, as I was relentless in this endevour. Giving me another shot I spent an entire month in my garage, endlessly researching to become the best Design Agency and good enough for a partnership with this company. Eventually, it happened and it changed my life forever.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

There are many types of art, including the way we carry ourselves, the way we coexist with each other, and through digital creativity. One of my favorites is evoking emotion through the buyer experience. Creating a funnel that enables engagement and creates further curiosity. My second is a pure creative design that lights people’s faces up with happiness, love and enjoyment. I’ve also created a small community for my clothing brand, Designverse Clothing. This was to gain the local perspectives’ attention, bringing people together for the enjoyment of design in every form. Showcasing my art in a wearable form has been new for me but it has been so enlightening!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Honestly, I want to shout out the period in which we exist and the opportunities we are given every day in this technological age, it’s a blessing. Also, this book is called Unf*ck Yourself. I would go trail running every day, then read it which is something that forced me to think differently propelling me into a realm of uncertainty but ultimately dominating the space because of an unrelenting power inside. Finally, my dad, this guy had me on a computer when I was 5 and I was building websites and animation by 8 years old. He also believed in me when no one else did. No matter how many times I messed up, he never stopped believing in me and gave me just enough mentorship to survive when I had fallen so deep.
