We had the good fortune of connecting with Annelise Rothe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Annelise, what do you attribute your success to?
I think what’s made my business successful is my passion for what I do, and my drive to make my customers happy. I create designs for my clients that come from my heart, this business isn’t solely meant as an income for me but it’s a passion project. My goal isn’t to book as many clients as possible, but instead to book the right clients, to give them my full attention and passion and deliver the best work. I only serve a few clients a year so that I can devote more time to them and I think that shows in my work, my clients happiness with the products and the success I’ve had in only a few years of business. 

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am so proud of my business, how much I’ve grown as a designer, and where I can go in the future. I’m proud to be the sole owner/operator/designer in my business, giving each client a more personal touch on their wedding flowers. I work with my clients from start to finish and each piece is made with love, and with their dreams in mind. I pride myself on constantly learning, trying new things, and growing to fit with the times and whatever may be coming.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe a thank you to many people but the person who is owed the biggest thanks is my husband. Without him I would have never had the courage to start this business, and without his constant support I wouldn’t be able to run this business as smoothly as I do while still having both my young girls at home. I owe a thank you to my family for always supporting me, my step-mom for helping me set up on wedding days when I need extra hands, my friends for cheering me on, and my co-vendors for helping me get into the world of weddings, and guiding me as I learn and grow.
