We had the good fortune of connecting with Aviva Sonenreich and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aviva, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Life is a balance of risk and reward. It’s important to be self aware enough to understand when to practice risk. That said, the bigger the risk the bigger the reward. A younger person can and should have a larger appetite for risk as they have few responsibilities. I follow suit. The older you get and the more responsibilities you have, one should taper their risk to a level that supports their needs. For now, I’m playing risky as hell.

What should our readers know about your business?
My company is called the Warehouse Hotline. The Warehouse Hotline is the only heavily branded, warehouse focused commercial real estate firm of its kind. The Warehouse Hotline leverages advanced marketing techniques to maximize our clients commercial real estate results. I also teach commercial real estate on the internet under the alias, RealEstateSource. and have amassed one of, if not the largest social following in commercial real estate. I am very excited to be launching a number of commercial real estate focused NFT projects this year as I believe blockchain technology will change the commercial real estate industry forever. How I got here? Well…I do come from a real estate family. *Readers roll their eyes.* Although I came from a real estate family, my parents made it a point to make me work for everything I have. I found real estate deals to be fun and rewarding. As a creative person, I have been able to turn a fairly stiff industry into various creative endeavors all while helping the greater good.

Being a female in a male dominated industry has been a challenge but I have been able to to use my gender to my advantage. The commercial real estate industry is brutal and you would not believe the ethics in question I see on a regular basis. I’ve learned in business it’s important to find the ‘good guys’ and holding them close.

Commercial real estate is a largely gate kept industry and I want to be known for bringing branding to the field and teaching the world about how they can create their own destiny in commercial real estate.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Coming to Denver? Get in the car. We are going to dinner at Avelina. Avelina is the best meal in Denver, a true gem.

Activities include a visit to the Marijuana Mansion, a historic property that has been flip upside down into an incredible interactive art exhibition. Speaking of interactive art exhibition, we will go to Meow Wolf on Monday midday, as its the best time to go.

A Red Rocks hike is always iconic with dinner at the Fort.

Hopefully we will be able to schedule a walking tour with Phil Goodstein, Denver’s most learned historian.

Tubbing in Golden is always a blast with friends.

A late night classic is the Terminal Bar in Union Station or Cart Driver downtown. Don’t forget to hydrate!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Winslow. Thank you for your unwaivering devotion and guidance to myself, my family, and my career. They don’t make them anymore like you. I’ll be looking up for guidance in deals for years to come.
