We had the good fortune of connecting with Beenie Mann and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Beenie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Being an entrepreneur is something I have always felt drawn to. Being my own boss and working on my own fortune makes more sense to me than working for someone else building their dream. Over the years, I dabbled here and there. At first, I became involved in network marketing. The allure of being in business for myself but not by myself was very inviting. There I was introduced to the power of personal development and working with a coach. As a single-income military family with 2 kids, we simply did not have the funds to spend on taking a chance and hoping I’d find the coach that’s right for me. There were simply too many ‘what if’s’. The names I recognized were way out of our price range and the unknown ones… Just couldn’t risk it. When I officially became a coach myself, a whole new set of challenges opened up. I so wanted to help people be better, be more, be happy, and see different perspectives. Through my own experiences I had so much to share and have helped so many people for most of my life. But… Where would I find my clients? How can I establish myself as an authority and stand out in this vast sea of coaches? Buying a lottery ticket and finding the right coach have one thing in common… on both you hope you win but it is still left to chance. The end of March 2019 the idea for the platform I have today came to me while brainstorming for something completely different. In January 2020 the initial phase of the platform launched. My idea was to bring budget-friendly coaching to the masses with a guarantee to win while also adding value to brilliant coaches. Currently, we have several different categories of coaching to include: Business, Life/Mindset, Health/Wellness, Teen Life and Leadership, and more. Matters of Perspective, LLC is a win-win for everyone.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’d love to. The Matters of Perspective coaching concept was born out of my own needs and frustrations. Both, as a client and a coach. As I mentioned earlier, being that single-income, low-to-no-budget family, I simply could not take a chance. At the same time, I knew I had to do something to further my growth. $5,000, $10,000, or more to gamble with was simply not an option.
Then, I officially started and stepped into my calling as a coach. Another slew of challenges. Upon looking around and talking with fellow coaches, I saw the struggles on this side of the coin. For most, it is a challenge to gain clients and therefore earn an income. Yes, we want to help as many as we can but like everybody else, we have bills to pay.
One other factor to consider is the fact that, if we do not like the person who is teaching us, we are simply not learning. At least that is how it is for me. So, with my platform as it is set up now, everybody wins. The client will get matched with the coach that is right for them. Not only in the category they are looking for but personality wise. If, for some reason, after starting the program, there is a personality issue, the client will get connected with another coach. Our client’s success is our #1 priority.
Our coaches win because they not only get do what they love and are phenomenal in, they also gain credibility as well as an income. Matters of Perspective LLC is set up to be a win-win-win. We are bridging the gap for the 95%. There are so many amazing people out there who want more and live a better life but do not know where to start or where to go. We are here to move everybody, who wants to, forward into the direction of their dreams and goals. Best of all, we are very budget-friendly so everyone who wants to grow can. Our monthly membership group coaching is a great way to get started at a low investment level!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First stop would be Java Punk Coffee in Colorado Springs. My home away from home. It’s a place where you can hang out all day. During the visit we’d have to have dinner at La Bella Vita Ristorante at least once. NaRai Siam Cuisine is another must stop and eat place. Garden of the Gods is magical as is driving up to Pikes Peak (must have those donuts). Of course 7 Falls, the Broadmoor, and other gorgeous places of nature.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The biggest Shoutout goes to my husband Jeffrey. People call me a lighthouse but he is the rock I stand on. I could not do what I do without his love and support. He is the star in my noodle soup. Another huge THANK YOU goes to all those who cheer for me, guide me, trip me, push me, teach and love me. All those who have gone before me and left their wisdom in books and recordings. All those who walk beside me no matter for how short or long. THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU!
