Meet Breanna Berry | Sneaker Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Breanna Berry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Breanna, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued an artistic career because art is and has always been my passion! I’ve been doing art all of my life, since I could pick up a crayon! I always loved to draw, paint, color, do crafts pretty much anything to do with art and creativity. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do as an artist, but whatever it was I wanted it to be big! I always dreamed of an art career that provided me with a lot of artistic freedom, I don’t like having too many restraints as an artist. I also wanted to prove the “starving artist” statement wrong!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I do sneaker art! I customize sneakers for professional athletes, major corporations, celebrities & the general public. I am inspired by street art! I love the bold, controversial, colorful, risky, unique style of graffiti & bombers! Graffiti has always been my favorite art style! What sets me apart from others is my style! It’s speaks for itself, I give everything a street twist and paint drips are my signature style that I put on every shoe. I put my heart into all of my art, I’ve been complimented on that so many times! I’m passionate about art and art is my life! Getting paid to do it is just a bonus! I love making visions come true in ways unimaginable! I am excited about every day of my life! I literally get to live my dreams every single day! My art has brought me to places & opportunities that I could have never DREAMED of! I literally get to make a living off of what I love to do! No schooling or job could have brought me as far as my God given art talent has brought me! Getting where I am today came with a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, confidence, positivity and believing in myself, but it also came effortlessly! When something is meant for you and you put your all into it, the universe will give you every tool and opportunity to succeed and that’s exactly what happened for me! Every big opportunity I have had, has ORGANICALLY came to ME! Truly a blessing!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of the most fun and interesting places in Colorado would be the mountains for me! I always love a trip to the mountains! There you can find outdoor fun, history, good food and beautiful views! There’s so many places in the Rocky Mountains that are interesting, just depends on what you’re into!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a shoutout to my city & state, Denver, Colorado! I have so many supporters in my state that have always lifted me up, believed in me and rooted for me from the start! From the general public, friends, strangers and major corporations! Not only has Colorado shown me so much love & support, but so have several other states as well! I just want so give a special shoutout to my OWN state because sometime your own city doesn’t support you when you do bigs things, but I have to give my state all the love, because they’ve rooted for me from the start, when I was first getting my art out there and before I got so known!
