We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Jagoras and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Casey, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote is “It’s never too late to be what you might have been” by George Eliot. There is so much freedom in knowing you can change directions at anytime, reinvent yourself, or go out on a limb and try something totally new. We only have this one life to live- so audit, critique and reinvent fearlessly.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have been creative ever since I can remember. When I was younger, I was always drawing or painting. As I matured I transitioned into photography as my outlet. Now as an adult, it’s interior design. Whether I have a pencil, paint brush, camera or fabric’s in my hand the process is the same- I just want to create something beautiful. I can’t help it. Having a vision for a room is like seeing a painting in your mind that needs to make it to the canvas. It consumes your mind until it’s complete. There is no much purpose in creating a beautiful space. It has been proven that we are more productive in a beautiful space and feel happier. I love helping create that for myself and for those around me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would start the day with a hike to take in the gorgeous Horsetooth Lake landcape. Then to lunch at Jax Fish House and Oyster Bar for the freshest food and unique flavor pairings. Walking around Oldtown and exploring the shops cafes would be next. We’d stop to get an ice coffee at Starry Night. Then dinner at Little, a restaurant with big taste and little name. Then off to Social for amazing atmosphere and drinks. We’d jump over to the Elizabeth Hotel’s Sunset Lounge to watch the sun go down over the foothills and end the evening at Ace Gillette’s for live music and desert.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband is absolutely my biggest fan and supporter. He is always encouraging me to pursuit my passions no matter how big. He challenges me to stay true to who I am while daring me to share my talents past my comfort zone.
