We had the good fortune of connecting with Chase Rohlfs and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chase, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
While having my own business as a Personal Trainer, I also used to sell in-home fitness equipment for a few years and saw that many folks don’t know where to start when it comes to using their new equipment. As a mobile trainer, I can help these folks maximize their return on their investment. Also, by coming to my clients, program adherence improves because there are less excuses for missing a workout session and as a results driven trainer, adherence is everything!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Being a trainer includes long hours and inconsistent pay but over the years I’ve been successful through becoming a better listener, continuing to be a student and learn from those who are better than myself, and keeping my approach to fitness structured and backed by science but also fun for my clients.

The most common personal trainer will work out of a big box gym or a boutique space where their clients come to them. At Revive Fitness, I travel to my clients, lowering the barrier to entry for exercise and providing one less excuse to skip your workout for the day. Whether you have a full apartment or home gym to work with or only a pair of dumbbells, I structure my programs to be maximally effective for strength and muscle gain with the least amount of time and attention to mastering the basics!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would be sure to include a trip or two into the mountains to visit Evergreen where I proposed to my wife and likely Vail or Breckenridge, as they were two of the places that convinced me to move to Colorado. We would find a few hikes and spend some time on Evergreen Lake or Lake Dillon and find a fun restaurant with good views such as Beau Jo’s, Lariat Lodge, or Breckenridge Brewery.

A trip to Denver wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Red Rocks for a concert or even a day hike/workout.

City Park or Wellshire Golf Course would be on the list for a round of golf and a Rockies game in the evening makes for a full day outside in the beautiful summer weather.

The last (but not least) on the list would be a stop by Wash Perk for a coffee and a walk around Wash Park – something my wife and I do regularly.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to shoutout to my current and past clients for their consistent efforts and trusting me year after year, my wife for her support while growing my business, and my friends and family for business advice and encouragement!
