We had the good fortune of connecting with Craig Decker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Craig, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve been an avid off-roader (@fergie.the.jku) for the past few years and have always been a soccer fanatic. ‘Joga Bonito’ is a Portuguese phrase that means “Play Beautiful’ and it’s resonated so much that two of my children and I have a Joga tattoo.

After thinking about what we do when we go out in our groups and wheel we are essentially just Playing so the idea of a cool looking brand that the wheelers would wear was born in January of 2021 as Joga Offroad. A few months later Alyssa Walker (@adventurealyssa) joined the cause and we have been getting our inventory and releasing new designs ever since.

Joga = Play

troduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and

Can you give our readers an in what sets you apart from others?
After graduating from UCCS with a Fine Arts degree I quickly got into Graphics and Web Design and worked for a few marketing places before ending up in the digital world.

As an outlet for my creative side I quickly realized that all Jeeps are basically an empty canvas and the people that drive them are ready to go out and Play.

Of course some of the challenges is that the OffRoad community is pretty saturated and there are many other companies to support but we are having fun while riding the wave.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Depending on how much time we had I would start the first couple days hitting the trails up in Woodland Park area. There are some nice beginner trails to get your appetite up like Rainbow Falls, Schubarth, Mt Herman, Stage Coach as well as Rampart Range in Garden of the Gods.

Depending on if my friend was a Rock Crawler (Climbing many rocks) or an Overlander (Just enjoying the trails/nature). The rock crawlers would head over to Chinamans, Wheeler lake, Holy Cross etc…. The beauty of being in Colorado is that there are so many trails to choose from.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There is a such a large community of Off-Roaders that are always there to help others. Colorado Springs Jeep/4×4 group and the Bearded Bastards are just two local group that have been awesome.

The Instagram community of Jeep fanatics is amazing as well.
