We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Joshua & Taylor Logan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Joshua & Taylor, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We knew that we could make an impact on a greater scale by opening up our own Chiropractic Office. We had so many visions for the mission and culture of our office and knew that we would be limited in that if we worked for someone else. We saw so many people being held back from pursuing their true purpose and passions because of their health. And so our desire is to help remove those health barriers so they can walk forward into what they feel they are meant to live out in this life.
We had worked extremely hard during Chiropractic school and the year following to ensure we would be as prepared as possible to open and succeed so we honestly didn’t have a whole lot of reservations about that aspect. We also had some incredible mentors that really guided us through the process and we owe so much of our success to that.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
True North Chiropractic was created to bring hope and healing to our city through neurologically-based chiropractic care. The secret to our exceptional results is the renowned Gonstead chiropractic technique, which goes above and beyond a traditional chiropractic assessment. The Gonstead method is a precise system, and the doctors that utilize it are able to deliver the most specific adjustments, addressing problem areas to restore and maintain optimal health. We are 1 of 7 offices in the state of Colorado that specifically practice this method and because of that we take on a lot of tougher cases. Everything we do is objective to make sure that we are truly getting to the root cause of an individual’s health concerns and making sure that throughout the process of care we are hitting each and every goal that an individual has set for themselves.
What we are very excited about is some specific niche’s that we are bringing to True North. Dr. Josh is Board Certified in Neuropathy and has created a specific protocol to stop and reverse neuropathy without the use of drugs or surgery. Dr. Taylor is certified in the Schaeffer Protocol which focuses on female reproductive health. Because of these niche’s we serve the whole family from a baby a few hours old to the elderly. We believe that when a family is healthy, a community is healthy so we strive to serve as many individuals here in our city to transform the health of our community.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend is visiting our city we have to get outside to experience God’s beautiful creation. We would start the week off with a morning hike to Catamount Reservoirs and on the way back into the city we would stop to grab brunch at Garden of the God’s Market and Cafe. Each day of the week we would find a new hike like “7 Bridges” or we would brave the Manitou Incline. But each day would not be complete without visiting our good friends at Loyal Coffee.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The quote by Jim Rohn “We are the average of the five people we spend the most time with” is so true. Because of this, I firmly believe that our success and where we are in life is due to the people we surround ourselves with. We’ve always strived to put ourselves with individuals that are much smarter than us not only from a business sense, but also with how they lead their family, home, and faith. One of our mentors has always reminded us that “no worldly success can compensate for failure in the home” so we have always strived to put our family and faith as the most important contributors to our success.
