Hi Flavia, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite affirmation is to always keep going even after reaching your goal or if you came across a roadblock at a point in your life. A goal always creates another goal within. Especially when it comes to running a business, for example in my case where I’m a running a clothing business. I have to keep up with the latest trends, who’s my audience, what’s the best and latest marketing tool out there, where is the best place to get my merchandise, and the list keeps going. You cannot let one obstacle dictate your end result, you have to work around it and what? Keep going! Once you overcome that obstacle is going to give you that push and strength to create even something even greater than your original move or idea. It’s an affirmation that it comes from within, where you consciously known about it and try to apply it everyday. No better person is going to give you that confidence that you need to survive in the wild, than yourself!

Mi afirmación favorita es siempre seguir adelante incluso después de alcanzar tu meta o si te encontraste con un obstáculo en algún momento de tu vida. Una meta siempre crea otra meta dentro. Especialmente cuando se trata de administrar un negocio, por ejemplo, en mi caso, administro un negocio de ropa. Tengo que mantenerme al día con las últimas tendencias, quién es mi audiencia, cuál es la mejor y más reciente herramienta de marketing que existe, cuál es el mejor lugar para conseguir mi mercancía, y la lista continúa. No puedes dejar que un obstáculo dicte tu resultado final, tienes que solucionarlo y ¿qué? ¡Sigue adelante! Una vez que superes ese obstáculo, te dará ese empujón y fuerza para crear incluso algo más grande que tu movimiento o idea original. Es una afirmación de que viene de adentro, donde lo conoces conscientemente y tratas de aplicarlo todos los días. ¡Ninguna mejor persona te dará esa confianza que necesitas para sobrevivir en la naturaleza, que tú mismo!

What should our readers know about your business?
Is starting a business with no business background knowledge easy? That is a BIG N to the O! Yet, is it doable, that is a BIG YES! I had to do all the research on my own while still working a full-time job! Good thing my full-time job is working remotely and I have my small retail set up inside my garage. Therefore, that allows me to attend my customers as they come to purchase on a walk-in basis or look up needed information while on my break or lunch. It is not easy tackling two full-time jobs, but you want it, then go get it. No one will be coming knocking on my door providing me step by step guidance on how to set up a business or how to run it. I’m a self-starter from scratch! I decided to start CO-Wear LLC because I miss that person-to-person interaction (working from home is not always fun and it can get lonely). Plus, I like fashion and meeting new people, therefore if you do 1+1, what do you get? CO-Wear LLC! I want to market my surrounding communities that desire to get that Adidas hoodie but don’t want to spend $70+ on just one item. I offer both adults and kids apparel lower than its retail price. What sets me apart from my competitors is one, being bilingual in both Spanish and English, which allows me to expand my customer base. In continuation, what is even more crucial to me is delivering top-tier customer service. I answer all questions within minutes, if they want pictures before they arrive that way they don’t waste time, I do it right away. If I know they want an item but I sold out, I’ll keep them in the loop next time I order the same item again, customers are welcome to stop by at anytime or day. I want to portray that VIP shopping experience with all my customers. Every dialogue is some type of sale, whether big or small or whether they refer me to their family or friends. I stand by my own character that shows honesty, integrity, and dependability.

¿Es fácil iniciar un negocio sin conocimientos previos de negocios? ¡Eso es una GRAN N a la O! Sin embargo, es factible, ¡eso es un GRAN SÍ! ¡Tuve que hacer toda la investigación por mi cuenta mientras seguía trabajando mi otro trabajo de tiempo completo! Lo bueno es que mi trabajo de tiempo completo es trabajar desde mi casa y tengo mi pequeña tienda instalada dentro de mi garaje. Por lo tanto, eso me permite atender a mis clientes cuando vienen a comprar sin cita o buscar información necesaria durante mi descanso o almuerzo. No es fácil mantener dos trabajos de tiempo completo, pero lo quieres, entonces ve a buscarlo. Nadie vendrá a tocar mi puerta brindándome orientación paso a paso sobre cómo establecer un negocio o cómo administrarlo. ¡Soy un emprendedor desde cero! Decidí iniciar CO-Wear LLC porque extraño esa interacción de persona a persona (trabajar desde casa no siempre es divertido y hasta aveces puede ser solitario). Además, me gusta la moda y dialogar con gente nueva, así que si haces 1+1, ¿qué obtienes? CO-Wear LLC! Quiero promocionar a mis comunidades cercanas que desean obtener esa Adidas pero no quieren gastar $ 70+ en un solo artículo. Ofrezco ropa para adultos y niños por debajo de su precio minorista. Lo que me diferencia de mis competidores es uno, ser bilingüe en español e inglés, lo que me permite ampliar mi base de clientes. En continuación, lo que es aún más crucial para mí es brindar un servicio al cliente de primer nivel. Respondo todas las preguntas en minutos, si quieren fotos antes de que lleguen así no pierden tiempo, lo hago enseguida. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Colorado, I’ll show the best places the state has to offer that he or she would not want to leave. I would take my best friend to eat at places like: Sam’s No. 3, Snooze, El Mirador Mexican Restaurant, The Delectable Egg, Lazo Empanadas and ViewHouse. Then, I would take my best friend to sweat out those calories by climbing the 200 steps incline at Castle Rock, if my 65 year old mother could do it, so can my best friend that loves me dearly. Then, provide a little bit of Colorado history by going to see the Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden. It is so peaceful going up that you can stay there and just vent and feel a sense of calmness. After some peace and quite, go enjoy the nightlife of Downtown Denver! Last but certainly not the very least, enjoy the various dance socials around town, because I’m a professional Latin-rhythm dancer just like my significant other. We might even thrown in a couple private dance lessons for my best friend since we also teach.

Luego, llevaría a mi mejor amigo/a a sudar esas calorías subiendo la pendiente de 200 pies de alto en Castle Rock, si mi madre de 65 años puedo hacerlo, también puede hacerlo mi mejor amigo/a que me ama mucho. Luego, proporcione un poco de la historia de Colorado yendo a ver el Santuario Madre Cabrini en Golden. The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank very much for the support and push of my significant other and my parents! Without these group of people in my life, I wouldn’t be able to do it all on my own. From packing and unpacking my belongings onto and from the truck and setting up my vendor space in the burning heat or in the pouring rain. Or waking up at 2am and drive to another city to arrive on time for my vending event. All the way, from getting my mom that’s 65 years old to fly from another state to help me organize the merchandise I just purchased. Lastly, to getting the constant encouragement verbally to keep doing what I’m doing, because in the end I’m planting a seed that takes a lot of work to nourish and treat, but is to become successful in the near future from something that I molded and tweaked with my own two hands.

¡Quiero agradecer el apoyo y el empuje de mi pareja y mis padres! Sin este grupo de personas en mi vida, no podría hacerlo todo por mi cuenta. Desde empacar y desempacar mis pertenencias en y desde la troca y organizar mi espacio de vendedor en el calor abrasador o bajo la lluvia o despertarme con mi pareja a las 2 am y conducir a otra ciudad para llegar a tiempo a mi evento de venta. O cuando mi mamá, que tiene 65 años, venga desde otro estado para ayudarme a organizar la mercancía que compre. O cuando mi papa contastemente me dice que siga haciendo lo que estoy haciendo y que esta muy orgulloso. Porque al final estoy plantando una semilla que requiere mucho trabajo para nutrir y tratar, pero es para tener éxito en mi futuro de algo que moldeé y modifiqué con mis propias dos manos.
