Meet Heather Alexandar | Yoga Teacher & Trainer, Professional Astrologer, and Cosmic Wellness Luminary

We had the good fortune of connecting with Heather Alexandar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Heather, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Throughout the life of my business, Cosmic Soulchemy, I’ve found that the most tremendous success is achieved when I trust my intuition and lead with authenticity. That’s when the most amazing people and clients are drawn to me. It’s like this magnetism that attracts the right energy at the right time.

This type of success really takes me trusting in my intuition, that “gut feeling”, to either go for a new experience or pass. I think it’s easy to forget that there’s a real human behind every brand out there, and when you lead with authenticity and authority, it brings more dynamism to what you’re offering to the world.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a yoga teacher/ trainer and professional astrologer, I have the opportunity to infuse every ounce of my work with creativity and authentic expression. Especially with teaching yoga, there’s this freedom in using the spoken word to help guide your students through a sequence of shapes in a new and exciting way. I bring this different level of energy to my classes that some students have mentioned other teachers just don’t have. For me, yoga, astrology, and cosmic wellness are something that excites me and almost electrify my energy so that when you come to enjoy any of these offerings, you know that the person you’re talking to, (me), is highly invested in supporting you through your journey.

I think the thing I’m most excited about currently is our upcoming Spiritual Astro Adventure in July. This is a big accomplishment for me and my business to lead a weekend “adventure retreat”. I’d been putting my feelers out for a while now, probably for at least a year, just learning as much as I could about hosting a retreat and what it would entail and HOW to go about it. So when two other highly professional women business owners approached me with an opportunity to co-lead a Spiritual Astro Adventure, I knew the universe was saying, GO FOR IT!

Getting to where I am professionally took a lot of ego checks and shadow work. Overcoming imposter syndrome and worry was a fun experience to go through, but it was well worth the tears and frustration. I think aware humans can sense when someone has gone through Svadyaya or self-study to weed out and release the things that were holding them back. It’s a kind of glow-up in a sense.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely be going to Lucina Eatery & Bar at 2245 KEARNEY ST #101, in DENVER, everything is superb here! The drinks, food, ambiance, service, everything was 10/10!

Now that it’s summer, we would take our daily yoga practice to Cheeseman Park. While I didn’t grow up in Denver, I’ve become fascinated with its dark history, and the story of how Cheeseman Park became so, is one of the most interesting stories out there.

Of course, we’re going for a paddle now that all the lakes are full. Favorites include Chatfield Gravel Ponds, Cherry Creek, and Aurora Reservoir. We love a location that has a nice sandy beach to lay out a blanket & have a picnic.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
You know those people that show up in your life, and at first, they don’t seem like they care for you that much, like maybe your personalities don’t mesh well, etc. But then they completely surprise you by continually showing up to support you, holding space for you, even inviting you out to do fun things, taking you under their wing, and adopting you into their lives wholeheartedly! Well, that’s my friend MacKenzie Koncher. She’s definitely been a huge support this year, and I’m grateful that she chose me to be her astrologer and to continue the relationship into a friendship, and beyond! This incredible woman also asked me to be part of the Spiritual Astro Adventure weekend she has planned with another badass woman and astrophotographer!

The Spiritual Astro Adventure weekend will begin with a guided meditation to connect with the universe and set our intentions for the journey ahead. We will explore the galaxy and learn about the celestial significance of the cosmos above through a hands-on astrophotography lesson. All photos taken are yours to keep! Experiencing the wonders of the universe through paranormal investigation of the Historic Windsor Hotel and Silver Plume Cemetery will open your mind to the possibility of life after death. Ponder the magnitude of this weekend through mindfulness meditation, yoga, and scenic hiking trails overlooking the historic town below. Throughout the weekend, we will also have opportunities for spiritual reflection and connection with like-minded individuals. This event is perfect for anyone interested in astrology, spirituality, astrophotography, or simply looking for a unique and meaningful experience.
