We had the good fortune of connecting with Heidi Dietz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Heidi, so many of the folks we connect with are focused on having a positive social impact on their community or the world at large. Can you talk to us about how you are helping the community?
New Vibes Health & Acupuncture is a place for healing from pain, whether it is physical, emotional or spiritual. We offer services and tools to help our patients thrive during this time of uncertainty. With so much pain and anxiety in the world right now, we provide solace and guidance to navigate the our current environment. From education on diet, to treatments releasing toxins from your system and providing pain relief, we feel there is no better time to practice self care. In September 2020, our clinic moved into a new space where we will be able to offer community acupuncture which will allow people who may not be able to afford our services a chance to experience the healing power of acupuncture. We will also be donating a portion of those proceeds to Operation Underground Railroad, an organization who’s cause we feel very passionate about!
Please tell us more about your business. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
New Vibes Health & Acupuncture is a wellness clinic where we provide acupuncture, fire cupping, B12 injections, muscle testing, nutrition consultations and much more healing modalities. We focus on listening to our patients and getting to the root cause of any pain or disease in their body. We look at all aspects of their lives to identify any underlying stressors or toxins that maybe playing a role in their health. Running a small business can be scary at times, as may small business learned all to well. when COVID hit.
We were very lucky to have the amazing community around us, thanks to their love and support we were able to survive, and since we have reopened, we are thriving! We feel very blessed to be surrounded by amazing family and friends! One of the biggest leaps of faith to date, was moving our clinic to our new space! We are now able to offer more healing modalities, bring in other practitioners, and make it sanctuary to all of our patients. This leap of faith has turned out to be the best thing we could have done for our business. If I could give advice to small business owners, I would say listen to your intuition and take a risk!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shoutout to my mom and kiddos! My mom taught me from a very young age to take care of yourself, eat healthy, exercise, meditate, and to be kind to others. My two children Colton, and Jordan are the biggest joys in my life, their love is what makes life worth living!
