We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason and Madison Schwind Meraki Ways and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason and Madison Schwind, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Our thought process behind starting our own business is we saw a need create an all inclusive environment for humans that wish to live a healthy lifestyle and minimize their impact on the planet. Throughout the years, we have worked to live a healthy lifestyle by incorporating yoga, gardening and composting into our daily lives. We wanted to create a platform so others could have a support system to learn and grow from one another. We do not claim to be the experts but are happy to share what has worked for our family. That is why we gather the best instructors in order for us all to grow together.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our art is the way we live, yes we create “traditional art” paint, sculpture, etc.. but the way we live is our most artistic journey. We do not claim to be the experts, we find and know the experts. This allows us the opportunity to build an amazing team and create the greatest experience. We grew out of the beauty business, where we had the ability to get to know so many different humans from different backgrounds.
We want to help people see the planet in a different way, we want to express the ability to have a “calm” in these times. Creating a space where we give back and minimize our impact on the planet one small adjustment at a time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would start with coffee in Cherry Creek, then a bike ride to REI and commons park. During the week we would visit Denvers highest point at Cramer park, check out the art in RiNo and Santa Fe art districts. Grab breakfast at Snooze, Dozens and Crema. Tomayo is a must do dinner and taco tour would be fun. We would also go on an adventure to Breckenridge where you can experience a top ski resort blended with an 1800’s mining town.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to shout out father earth, mother sky, and the 7.9 billion humans that inspire us to do better every single day.
