We had the good fortune of connecting with Jerrell Mixon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jerrell, how do you think about risk?
Honestly risk taking have put me in a lot of good and bad situations. I’m thankful for the times i bumped my head because it made me much stronger and much wiser with some risks I was taking. Not all risk are bad I disagree when people offer bias comments about risk taking .. Some risks are very smart and will set you for life . Taking chances and stepping out on faith help me more then I could imagine. Times I didn’t have the faith in myself but I had to work 40 to 50 hours plus just to fund my vision. Somethings worked out some didn’t but I just keep going .

I believe what sets me apart from the others is my rebellions. My out the box way of thinking and never taking no for an answer. I’m most proud and excited about my growth and patience with dealing with mental health. I appreciate bad days as much as I do the good ones because it keep and make you strong and Independent. It’s never easy but it’s worth it. Everyday it’s a new fight abs struggle in this world and career path I chose. I’ve learned many lessons. Emotional financially and spiritually lessons. It’s all about learning and making mistakes rather good or bad make a choice. You can either be scared to fail and never know your outcome or u can fail correct the problem and move forward. I want the world to know about my brand and I. You looking at a risk that prospered in the flesh.. everyday of my life wasn’t amazing rather I made it that way or not. I’m a African American man off the east side of Detroit with not to many opinion where we live. Everyday you faced with temptations that can better or hurt your life. I always saw and wanted the bigger picture not letting life’s ups and downs stop me from flourishing in many ways. Through our the years Ive studied marketing and business management to keep me informed with the way culture and the world move. I face issues like everyone else’s but I keep a balance life and go after what I believe in. “Peace “ Financial Freedom” “equality “ “FREEDOM” my Brand represents a company that believe no matter your situation you are good enough to prosper and get to another level of life. It’s where luxury meets street.. you can be fashionable and still keep it street.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend visiting me I would show them around my city first . We would go to Lil Caesar’s Arena located downtown Detroit Michigan. Stop by Southern Fires for a nice meal. Floods bar and grill also has great food located in the heart of downtown Detroit. Hit up royal oak pinky roof top for great drinks or Sedona in Troy Michigan. Downtown Detroit is filled with great vibes and people for a great time.
