Meet Jill Levine | Certified professional coach, intuitive guide and energy worker.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jill Levine and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jill, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Balance looks very different now than it did a few years ago. I have worked excessively hard, putting work above all else, and fallen down more than once in that model.
With time, I have learned to fill my cup first. I get good sleep every night, exercise (I am a Les Mills Body Balance instructor, lift weights and spin weekly), fuel my body with healthy foods, do energy work and meditate nearly every day. This means getting up early, having older kids that are great at getting themselves up and ready for school, and having a partner that is supportive of my morning routine.
When I was a single mom, I hired a nanny to ensure the morning routine and after school pick ups were handled as my job was far more demanding at that time and I needed help to juggle all the responsibilities. Now that I work from home, I have much more flexibility and a schedule that allows for balance.
I think the concept that every woman can (and often should) be a super woman – work full time, volunteer, be 100% present with their children and significant other, have time for friends and hobbies – all while sacrificing themselves and their sanity – is a concept that needs to cease to exist. No one can pour from an empty cup and if we don’t prioritize ourselves and our sanity, letting our cups overflow with love and joy to all the people around us, we’re fighting a losing battle. We, as women, eventually pay the price in our health and happiness.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have a coaching practice that weaves in energy work (dowsing), chakra healing and oracle readings based on the needs of a client. There are times during a session that messages from ancestors or guides come through for my clients (I call them the Whispers). This is such special and magical work and I’m honored to get to be in this space.
Some people come to me for traditional coaching, feeling stuck or needing help navigating a major life transition, or find themselves ready to change their mindset (which changes their whole life!). Some come for healing energy work. Others find a hybrid of these services to be the right balance. I work primarily with people who identify as female, though I’m open to working with anyone who is ready to do this work. I have a professional coaching certification and additional coaching certifications in well-being and transitions. Well-being often involves creating work-life balance, shifting mindset and perspective and reprioritizing so a more manageable equilibrium is actualized. With transitions, I provide support to those in transition so they are not alone as they navigate major life changes. So often in life we have a quick party to celebrate a massive life change and the person going through that change is left to figure it out how to navigate changing terrain on their own.
I get excited each and every time I work with a client. The most common thing I hear from clients is how much better they feel at the end of a session. It’s incredible what can be accomplished in just one hour.
My brand is all about seeing Light in people and reflecting it back to them when they’ve forgotten just how magnificent they are.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Fort Collins, Colorado. There are so many great places we have here. Lattes and tea at Lima Coffee Roasters are a great way to start the day. Shopping at the locally owned stores in Old Town like the Cupboard, Sense of Place and Old Firehouse Books is lots of fun and lunch at Ginger and Baker is a must. If you have time, the Woodhouse Day Spa is pure luxury and pampering – definitely a beautiful investment in self-care. Happy hour at Elevation 5003 Distillery is my favorite – they make their own spirits, bitters, use fresh ingredients and the owner is often behind the bar. The specials at Domenic’s for dinner are hard to beat.
For those that enjoy hiking, biking, hammocking, stand up paddle boarding and boating in the summer, Horsetooth Reservoir is a beautiful place to spend some time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The list of helpers on my journey is so long. I am a product of the support and love of so many people. My parents, husband, children and friends who are like family are such sources of love and support. Carmeen Klausner has taught me so much about dowsing and other healing modalities and has helped me heal from the inside out. She’s an angel in human form. Kristin Keffeler started me on my path to becoming a coach, is brilliant, and has the most incredible spirit. Judie Hurtado is an insightful coach and guide. I have devoured the books of so many authors including Shawn Achor, Brene Brown, Glennon Doyle, Wayne Dyer, Elizabeth Gilbert, Louise Hay, Laura Lynn Jackson, Elizabeth Lesser, and Abby Wambach.
