We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Baesler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started my business from something I already loved….planning my kids’ birthday parties. I’ve always been a little extra when it comes to celebrating their big days, putting so much thought into every detail and really going all out with each theme they chose. Every year, I found myself trying to top the last, making each party more creative, unique, and special than before. What I loved most was seeing their excitement when everything came together. That moment made all the effort worth it. It also made me realize that not everyone has the time, energy, or creative vision to pull off something like that and that’s where I thought I could help. I wanted to take something that brought me so much joy and share it with others, helping families create those same unforgettable moments without the stress.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My “art” is really about creating experiences—turning a simple sleepover into something magical, personalized, and unforgettable. What sets me apart is the level of creativity and intention I put into every single detail. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all parties. Each setup is thoughtfully designed to reflect the child’s personality, interests, and vision. I genuinely love the creative process, bringing a theme to life and seeing it all come together in a way that feels special and unique to them.

Professionally, this started from doing what I loved for my own kids. It wasn’t something that just happened overnight, it grew organically as I realized this was something I could offer to others. Like any business, it hasn’t always been easy. There’s been a lot of learning, trial and error, and figuring things out as I go—from logistics to time management to putting myself out there. I’ve learned that passion can turn into something bigger if you’re willing to take the leap, even when it feels uncertain. I’ve also learned the importance of trusting your creativity and not comparing your journey to others.

What I want people to know about my brand is that it’s built from the heart. This isn’t just about parties, it’s about creating moments kids will remember and giving families the chance to be fully present for them. Every setup is created with care, intention, and a genuine love for what I do.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were coming to visit, I’d honestly keep most of our time right here in Erie—because I truly believe my hometown is such a special, underrated place. It has that perfect mix of small-town charm, beautiful scenery, and amazing local spots that make it feel both relaxed and memorable.
We’d keep it really simple starting the morning with coffee at Fox Dog Coffee, time around town, one fun outing like Colorado Railbike Adventures, and a hike at Mount Sanitas. Dinner at The Birdhouse would be a must, and the rest would just be hanging out and enjoying it all together.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d dedicate my shoutout to my kids, my family, and my clients. My kids were the inspiration behind it all—they’re the reason I fell in love with creating these special moments in the first place. My family has always supported me along the way, and that means everything.
And of course, my clients deserve so much credit too. Seeing the joy on the kids’ faces and the relief on parents’ faces knowing they can just enjoy the moment without the stress…that’s what makes all of this so worth it.
