We had the good fortune of connecting with Josiah Gee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Josiah, how do you think about risk?
Being an entrepreneur, I believe it is important to understand the difference between a “gamble” and a “calculated risk.” A gamble is a shot in the dark where as a calculated risk is a shot taken in the light. When you take a calculated risk, you’re working from solid intelligence. You’ve tested. You’ve validated. You’ve in a sense proven your idea. A gamble puts something in jeopardy. A calculated risk puts something to work. However, I stand behind fully trusting one’s intuition, even if the risk you plan to take isn’t a calculated risk. Sometimes all you have to do is believe that anything is possible and manifest greatness! It is also important to realize that even if taking a risk doesn’t go as planned, it is perfectly alright. Re-evaluate the scenario and try again.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As innovators, we aim to capture our audiences’ interest and attention through originality and luxury appeal, and for the last several years, I have targeted all my efforts in obtaining it.

The brand has been blessed, to say the least, regarding the support it has received from both industry peers and clientele. Business has been on an upward climb year after year in Denver, but with the effects of COVID-19, we have had some struggles just as every other small business since the start of the pandemic. We have been focusing our efforts on establishing a well-known presence within the community and neighboring communities, teaming up with local small business owners to educate and learn from one another as we all adapt to this new way of life and the retail world. We hope that by focusing on key fundamentals such as caring for customers and our community and by the building of strong relationships and ensuring a stellar level of customer satisfaction, our baseline starting point of staying true to company values and purpose will help anchor us as we assist in re-imagining the customer experience in a post COVID world.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend were visiting for a week, I would first take them to the Denver Selfie Museum. It is the first and only Instagram pop-up museum in Denver, offering a variety of awesome backdrops in different room settings. A totally fun experience! I would have my friend experience Denver Fashion Week as well. Our city has some of the most talented creatives around. An excuse to wear your best fashions and meet brilliant individuals. We of course have to visit Habit Doughnut Dispensary, a liquor infused donut shop. The Denver Art Museum is also a must! The Dior exhibit was life changing! I would recommend adding it to your bucket list! Being a small business owner myself, I would also take them to Red Herring Art Supply in Lakewood, They offer the best selection of art supplies in Colorado. They also support local artists by offering a wide selection of artwork, crafts and fashion for sale to the general public. The owner’s name is Kris and I adore her very much! NeckJuice bow ties are also available at the shop!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to anyone who has had life push them down and still had the courage and strength to keep moving forward with more determination than ever to succeed. To anyone who has battled in the dark and refused to throw in the towel. You define amazing!
