We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Pflugh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As parents, my husband and I chose to model effective communication and problem solving between us, We also empowered our children to interact and have conversations with adults. In addition, we encouraged independence and problem-solving skills by allowing our children to be in situations that were challenging and not “rescuing” them so that they didn’t have to deal with difficult things. These strategies allowed our children to prepare for and be successful adults.

What should our readers know about your business?

There are many types of real estate agents out there, some solely driven by profits and self-interest, while others prioritize building genuine connections with clients. On our Team, we let our core values guide our daily operations and interactions with clients and colleagues alike and we take pride in the fact that most of our business comes from referrals, a testament to the trust our clients have in us to take care of their friends and family.

Firstly, we believe in a Relentless Commitment to achieving our clients’ goals. We understand that buying or selling a home can be a stressful and emotional process, and we are dedicated to doing everything in our power to help our clients achieve a successful outcome. This means being available to our clients when they need us, and never giving up on finding the perfect home or buyer for them.

Secondly, Uncompromising Trust and Commitment are at the heart of everything we do. We understand that buying or selling a home is one of the most significant financial decisions our clients will make in their lives, and we take this responsibility very seriously. We strive to earn and maintain our clients’ trust by always acting with integrity, being transparent and honest in all our dealings, and following through on our commitments.

We believe in Building Authentic Relationships with our clients that extend beyond the transaction. We take the time to get to know our clients and understand their unique needs and preferences. By building genuine connections with our clients, we can better serve them and create a more positive, fulfilling experience for everyone involved.

Active and Healthy Communication is another core value that we prioritize in our business. We understand that effective communication is key to any successful real estate transaction, and we make it a priority to keep our clients informed every step of the way. Whether it’s providing regular updates on the status of a listing or answering questions about the buying process, we are always available and ready to communicate with our clients in a clear and concise manner.

We have several areas of specialization. One is helping people relocate to Colorado Springs. We understand the challenges that come with moving here from out of state, especially if they have never been here . To assist our out-of-area clients, we’ve implemented video tours of homes and neighborhoods, and a specialized website that gives people who are relocating insight into the area.  Our goal is to make the relocation process as seamless and stress-free as possible for our clients.

Another is in assisting individuals and families who are downsizing or retiring. These clients often have many questions and concerns, such as assessing the value of their homes and coordinating home repairs. Our real estate expertise and patience allow us to guide them through the process and connect them with the resources they need.

Still another that is often misunderstood is helping those looking to build a new home, we stress the importance of having a real estate agent represent them, even if the builder provides salespeople. Building a home comes with its unique challenges, and we are there to protect our clients’ interests throughout the entire process.

A significant portion of our business comes from military members and first responders, whom we honor with our Military First Program, providing credits to help offset the costs of buying or selling a home.

Ultimately, we find joy in learning about our clients’ unique needs and helping them find their dream homes. Our greatest satisfaction comes from building long-lasting relationships with our clients and continuing to be a resource for them long after their move.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My professional journey started later in life, and there are many people who supported and contributed and deserve recognition!

The first is my husband, he is my biggest cheerleader, my coach who challenges my beliefs and behaviors, and my soft landing place, and has been instrumental in making me the successful business woman that I am.

My children have also been key in their support. It makes my heart full when my children let me know they are proud of the work I am doing and the impact I am having in the lives of my clients.

Professionally, Ashley Wilson, Realtor®, was key in bringing me to a brokerage that provided education and mentoring and gave me the fertile ground to grow a solid, growing business.
