We had the good fortune of connecting with Marina Soicher and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marina, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
The entire reason for starting my online business is this concept of balance. I always knew I wanted to be a present mama one day while also providing financially for my family & being fulfilled in my work. In 2019, I was pinching pennies and industry hopping from wedding planning, to fitness coaching, to insurance. I had zero work life balance as I searched for the answer to my dream life.

Then, I started my online business and despite having no previous experience or social media following, I committed to being coachable and consistent. It definitely took discipline for the first 2 years, but I saw an immediate change in my work life balance as I was able to remove other responsibilities off my plate as my business grew. By 2021, I was able to fully quit all my jobs and go “full time” in my business as I also prepared to welcome my first baby. My business took off and I was making as much as I used to make in one year in a 9-5 desk job in just 2 months.

With this financial freedom, I had the flexibility to pour into myself & prepare for my little one. Once he was born, I was able to take months off for maternity leave and then ease back into business as it felt right. Entrepreneurship has its ups and downs, but the flexibility is worth it all. At a time where I really need to focus on myself and family, I was able to do so.

Now, I have two little ones under the age of 3 and the madness is real, but it’s so fun! I work a couple hours a day on my business (that has now grown to multi-6 figures annually) and have been able to utilize automation, systems and outsourcing to allow me to spend the rest of my time as a present mama.

Balance to me means being able to be a present parent while also being able to provide and feel fulfillment in your work. Society teaches us we generally have to choose one or the other, but I’m so proud I found a way to do both and am on a mission to help other mamas create the same.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is high ticket affiliate marketing paired with online automation & social media. I have created an online educational platform and community that teaches people how to build an online automated business even if they have no previous experience or following. The high ticket products we work with are in the health & wellness space and help people improve their drinking water so they can consume more antioxidants & improve their health just with a simple change.

What sets me apart is that I’m able to be a fully present mama AND have a career that I love & am so fulfilled by. I am proof that you don’t have to choose, despite what we are taught growing up. I have built my business to 7-figures in revenue in less than 5 years while also starting my family and having two babies. I went from industry hopping, pinching pennies and being fully burnt out to now being able to work part-time hours and earn 5x what I earned in a 9-5.

I’m most proud of the fact that I didn’t have any previous online experience before this nor any social media following when I started, but I didn’t let excuses or fear hold me back. I committed to being coachable & consistent and following the process, and poured into my own personal growth daily. When I had tough days or big hurdles, I kept my long-term vision of present motherhood and generational wealth for my family front of mind and I didn’t give up. And because of that vision, not only have I created the life of my dreams, but I have helped hundreds of other people change their lives as well.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is living in gratitude. Before you can attract anything you desire, you have to be grateful for what you already have. The feeling of gratitude has to come before your desires in order for you to attract them in. When I started living in gratitude, everything changed. I love the book “The Magic” for learning to implement this and believe it will change anyone’s life who reads it.

What I want the world to know about my story is, if I can do it, you can too. I didn’t have any special talents or a super smart business idea, I just had the vision and the determination to see it through. If you can commit to being coachable & consistent and growing daily, anything is possible that you set your mind to. And those are the types of people I work with.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would spend a few days in Denver, experiencing the food & sports fun and then a few days in the mountains.

I would take them to a Nuggets, Avs, Broncos or Rockies game(s) and then around downtown Denver near Union Station or the Dairy Block for some yummy eats. We would take a day trip to Red Rocks to get a little exercise in and see the beautiful city view from the ampitheatre.

We would then make our way into the mountains and stop at BeauJo’s pizza in Idaho Springs for the best pizza (and honey) to ever exist. Continue our journey into the mountains to Vail or Breckenridge for a cozy hotel stay and possibly skiing or snowboarding depending on the season. I’m also a sucker for beautiful views and a hot chocolate by the fire. You never know what the Colorado weather will bring so we would plan for a hike or alpine slide trip if the weather was nice. And if I have a gambler on my hands, a stop in Blackhawk would be a must.

Before heading to the airport we would make a stop at the Gaylord hotel, especially if it’s the holiday season to see the lights and holiday fun. Maybe even stay a night or two to get the full hotel experience, especially if we have little ones with us.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband, Payton. He’s my biggest cheerleader and has always believed in me. When I first started my business, he wasn’t quite sure if it was the right fit but saw my passion and supported me anyways. He is always there to listen & give me the confidence boost or advice I need. Not to mention, continuing to follow his own career dreams at the same time & being the most incredible dad to our kids Jay & Beau. He is my best friend and the best life partner I could ask for and inspires me daily to follow my dreams.
