We had the good fortune of connecting with Natha Campanella and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natha, how does your business help the community?
It’s not exactly easy to be a human in the world right now, and from an astrological perspective, it’s obvious that we’re in a cycle of transformation.
Just like a splinter that’s been under the skin, irritating but invisible, we each have deeply personal emotional splinters buried within us. As these emotions rise to the surface, as they inevitably will in the midst of a spiritual/emotional awakening, they bring up doubt, questions and confusion. These are the very things that lead people to me, wanting to explore these questions through the lens of astrology.
Helping people understand their histories, emotional reactions and life purpose is the whole point of an astrology reading with me. Any change you wish to see in the world must begin on a very personal level, and I help people get clarity on what that means for them.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m an astrology teacher and I do private readings. I can see emotional and relationship dynamics with clarity, and because of that people naturally seek my council. This inspired me to become certified as a life coach several years ago, which led me into a powerful astrology apprenticeship.
I love astrology and have made it the focus of my practice because it provides an intuitive framework of personality archetypes, predictable crises and hidden gifts. It’s like having a personalized map you can use to more gracefully navigate your life when it gets tricky. Who doesn’t want that?!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Boulder which is such a great city to entertain in. When people visit, I bring them down to Pearl Street Mall to walk and window shop. Japango is a great place for Sushi and when the weather is warm, they have a beautiful patio that’s prime for people watching. I also love doing tea and gluten free scones at Spruce Confections!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
You know how they say that the things you ultimately end up helping other people to do are very the things you’ve had to learn yourself? That is so true for me and through every twist and turn of my own spiritual and emotional awakening, my dear friend Beth Walker has been there.
She’s a professional makeup artist and clean beauty educator based in Longmont Colorado and she was one of my biggest inspirations and support systems when I decided to cut alcohol out of my life (this makes me a much better astrologer, believe me!) and she’s always my sounding board for anything personal or professional that needs my attention. In the same way I help people to see their life experiences with more clarity, She’s the one that helps me do that for myself.
