We had the good fortune of connecting with Peter Condopoulos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Peter, what do you attribute your success to?
Relationships. The relationships that you create amongst both the talent that you’re helping to achieve their goals and also the working professionals who you can create a symbiosis with. Relationships are key, always.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I had recently gotten divorced and had been living in my car. During my homelessness, I received a beep from an old musician friend. He asked me to call him, and asked me what I was doing. He said that he had a friend in downtown Cincinnati and was looking for someone – and he told me that he thought of me immediately. He told me it was about a talent agency. I asked – “what do they do?” He said “I don’t know, I think they do film and television.” I asked “what, like dog and clown acts?”
So he gave me the address to go to. This parking lot where I had to be for an interview was the exact place where I was residing in my car. I looked up, and there it was. Let’s just say, the rest is history.
15 years later, I bought the company. Now i’m a proud owner of an award winning SAG-franchised agency representing over 1,200 people coast to coast. Now i’m helping people create their dreams and goals in the film/television industry.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One of my favorite places in Cincinnati is Over-the-Rhine/OTR. This is is a historical area full of markets, theatre, and restaurants.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give thanks to my family and staff. They’ve helped me get where I am today.
