Meet Remo Hill | Musician and Project Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Remo Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi REMO, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My business started from a deep passion for anything to do with music. When I began making my own music I couldnt help but create additional pieces of art to accompany/display it. Initially I looked for outside sources to bring my vision to life: like videos, clothing, studios, shows, and merch, but I wasn’t able to find products that met the style or quality I desired. Creating REMO and O Productions allowed me to hand pick likeminded creators who can meet all the needs local upcoming artist need to succeed or be inspired.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a producer and artist of all different genres of music along with being a hip hop dancer. I produce hip hop music and audio engineer for any artist that may need it, and have been raised on everything from Sam Cooke, Zion I, Big L, Social Distortion and CCR jus for a light reference so my ear for music is very diverse which tends to show in my production and sets me apart from similar artists. These days I am quickly progressing my career and beginning to work with likeminded individuals who are able to help me improve and create. I am booking shows, performing and open mics, releasing music, and planning a full entertainment rollout which will also guarantee a substantial career boost. It has been far from easy to get where I’m at, but since this is a passion and not just a career, i am able to preserver. My art focuses very much on mental health, intention and dedication, and focusing on those three things has been my driving force through any obstacle.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
As far as shout outs go, i usually take on majority of the workload so there’s not too many people, but i would definitely shout out my dad Jared Hill, for initially sparking my interest in music as well as his business knowledge which has helped me properly progress. I would also shout out my mom Lindsay Morris for instilling her hard work, dedication and perseverance in me, it makes things a lot easier to want to do. I would like to shout out my cousin Bobby Ray for showing me the multiple possibilities of this career path and also being there for motivation and support. And lastly my little brother and myself for being able to gather experience and use it appropriately.
