We had the good fortune of connecting with Renesha Rogers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Renesha, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My motto is: “If every woman knew her power, what would the world look like?”. My mission is to empower women in a way that uplifts their spirit and rocket boosts their confidence. My gift is reaching women through movement and social connection, leaving women feeling more connected with self and transformed enough to walk in their power.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Urban Seductress is a brand fueled by the idea to show women their true power as feminine beings. We offer sensual heels classes, themed social events, & confidence coaching for women.

Our unique offerings are centered around teaching women to pour into themselves and reconnect with other women, for the intention of learning self-love and self-care habits that shift their mindset and build confidence from the inside out. We help women unlearn unhealthy/toxic habits that effect their self-esteem and relationships with other women. Our offerings are not for fun, but for intentional growth. (Side Note: We have the most fun!)

I’m excited to reach more women with my confidence coaching. This is a new service expanded from the movement classes and it’s such an amazing tool that a lot of women need. There is no coaching or classes like Urban Seductress, we are one of one! It was easy to build because I was just being myself and bringing women together to dance. What started off as a fun way to teach dance has led me to my purpose.

There are always challenges with introducing something new, but that’s to be expected. I’ve found some struggles with getting women to get over their fears enough to attend a class. I always say, “The exact thing that is holding you back from showing up, is the exact reason why you need my class!” The only way to get over the fear is to go through it. That is how I’ve managed to keep this brand and vision alive for 10 years.

I’ve learned that Urban Seductress isn’t for everyone and that’s okay! I’m only looking for who’s looking for me. Anything that is for me will never miss me. That’s the same for my clients. They just need a little courage and I’ll help with the rest.

I would like the world to know that Urban Seductress is not only a brand, but it’s a “Self-Movement”!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend visiting from out of town, we would start with brunch at Mimosas on Welton street in Denver and a trip to the Museum for Black Girls on the 16th Street Mall. We would end our day with a wine down at my house, chatting and catching up with the family and cooking dinner.

If I was going to pretend to be an outdoor girly to give her the full Colorado experience…Lol… I would take her on a nature walk or a hike at Red Rocks and we would plan to go to lunch later at the Welton Street Cafe. It’s the best soul food in Denver. It’s a must to stay connected with the black community so making sure that is part of the experience is important to me.

A chill day and picnic at Boulder creek would be a great way to ease into a fun filled weekend of social events. Most importantly, she would have to take an Urban Seductress Heels class to get the weekend started off right! We would tap into Jazz in the park, Vibes in the park and end the week with Yoga with Keis of “Let’s Heal Together”..Lol.. that’s in the park too!

Needless to say we would have a full week of good food, dope vibes and real connection!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to shout out Tonoa Manuel of SIYG Consulting Firm. She is not only a close friend of me and my family, but she is a change maker in the community and has been a part of my business journey since 2020! Her powerful work with entrepreneurs and loving spirit has helped me step into clarity in my business and has helped me stay empowered through my vision and my journey.
