We had the good fortune of connecting with Samantha Cordero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Samantha, what do you attribute your success to?
Our success is driven by our ‘Champion Mentality’. We strive to push through our clients’ challenges with a figure-it-out, get-it-done, and be positive mindset. This allows us to be the fun problem solvers that our clients respect and value. We apply this mindset in our virtual assistant and operations solutions work.

Our champion mentality is evident in our team of US-based virtual assistants when they find innovative ways to help bring organization to our visionary clients, when they distill the 50 hats a CEO is wearing into a clear 3 hats to boost their productivity, or even when they determine proactive and thoughtful strategies behind time blocking a client’s calendar sot that the client has time to rest and recharge.

Our champion mentality is evident in our operations solutions when we determine the best way to optimize chaotic processes, bring harmony to small team collaboration, and automate systems in order to take tedious tasks off a team’s to-do list.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a virtual executive and operations support agency. We provide US-based support to established CEO’s in a variety of industries from interior design and residential construction to therapy firms and nonprofits.

We differ from other virtual assistant agencies by providing US-based assistants instead of outsourcing internationally, continuing to train our assistants in a wide range of systems and time management strategies, and by basing our services on Lean Six Sigma practices. Everything we do is done with the notion of making our client’s lives easier, simpler, and productive.

Our business started during COVID which gave us a leg up in resiliency – like many new entrepreneurs have realized, building a business during a pandemic is not entirely easy though it separates those that are willing to fight for their vision from those that won’t. It also provides us with a sense of how to navigate a recession market while continuing to provide high quality services to our clients.

I want the world to know that we are an agency that truly cares about understanding where our client’s want their business to go and partnering with them to provide organized, efficient support that gets them there. I think when many people hear “agency”, they sometimes think of an impersonal, corporate team but couldn’t be farther from who we are. Our agency is a team of dedicated assistants that work long-term with clients. While we’ve had short-term project clients, a majority of our clients have been with us going on 1 or 2 years.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
During the summer, I would definitely take a friend to a Rockies game or Red Rocks concert. There’s also such an amazing food scene in Denver that I would struggle to pick which restaurants to take them to. For fun, quick bites, Ultreia – the Tapas Bar at Union Station – or Neighbors – a charcuterie spot in Park Hill – are great options. During the winter, I would probably opt for a Nuggets game or snowshoe hike in Estes Park. Denver is a city of life and there’s something for everyone.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
