Meet Sara Duke | Co-Owner of K4CO Radio and Vice President of Media Relations

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sara Duke and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sara, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
K4CO Radio offers unique ways of marketing and bringing the Colorado community together. Our platform was started to highlight Colorado musicians and give them a platform to showcase their talents and music. We partner and collaborate with small to medium sized business around the state to help market and advertise for them. We are successful because we truly care about our community and think outside of the box. We offer up to 200 radio endorsements per month for our partners. We also offer interviews in our studio as well as remote, that are streamed live on the radio AND with the incredible help of our videographer, those interviews are also streamed LIVE on social media sites including: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. We also create reels, shorts and social media videos for our partners as well. We love participating in events with nonprofits during the year as well.

What should our readers know about your business?
K4CO Radio is not only a brand, it is a way of life. We truly love and care about our community and those that help lift it up. K4CO Radio is a complete marketing solution for businesses in Colorado. We truly offer unique ways of how to approach marketing. We are so humbled by our musicians and the story they bring with them. In our studio, we have cried and laughed with those we interview-and everything in between. We want to highlight people and show the world who they are and what they bring to our lives. Starting a company and being an entrepreneur is a journey. Life and business is how you handle the valleys, not always the peaks. Building a team around you that enhances each person through creativity, fun, respect, communication, and goal setting, is a tremendous foundation. We know that relationship building within our business and community is the glue that holds everything together.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Wow!! Colorado offers EVERYTHING!! We would take a trip up to the Mountains for a day of skiing you will never forget! The back bowls are so incredibly breathtaking-taking a long gaze into those Rocky Mountains! Catching a Bronco game LIVE at Mile High is a must to bask in the warm Colorado sun! Take a trip up and down the 16th street mall and grabbing a bite while visiting an art gallery and our museums, is worth every moment! For dinner, a trip to Casa Bonita and see those cliff divers, is quite the experience! Going for a hike over in the Flatirons by Boulder and petting a few dogs along the way, is a Saturday that will not be forgotten. For those golfers–paradise awaits! A trip to Colorado Springs to visit The Garden of the Gods, is another site to behold. We have tons of state parks, lakes…oh the possibilities!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
K4CO Radio is a complete miracle of teamwork, entrepreneurship, community, and hard work. K4CO Radio began in 2023 by an incredible idea by Joshua D’Estrada. Joshua joined forces with two other amazing musicians and together they became the three founders of K4CO Radio. Joshua, our fearless leader, President and co-owner, led us down an uncharted path of integrity and ambition. Kevin Stanley, our Station Manager, adds intelligent story telling through creativity. Our late Vice President, William Roberts, added funk, rock and soul to the family. Sabino Barrera, our Videographer, has an immaculate eye for capturing videos in a lively and inspiring way. Sara Duke, co-owner and Vice President of Media Relations, adds her love for nonprofit work and community into the mix. We greatly thank all of the community for their endless support. The Colorado musicians, family members, friends, community members, chamber members, and Colorado as a whole, contributed to K4CO Radio. We LOVE what we are doing for the Community!
