We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie Holzhauer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Fit4Mom started with Stroller Strides 23 years ago, but since then we have evolved and offer so much more now. People often think we “stroll” around a park and chat, but what they don’t realize is that we are running a workout for an hour. All of our instructors are prenatal and postnatal certified and we welcome moms of all stages of motherhood. We offer prenatal classes, stroller based and mom only classes. We actually have 7 different formats of classes that range from a class for expecting mothers, to HIIT & weight classes.
While we offer a variety of classes, it is more about the community.
Come for the workout., stay for the community.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Fit4Mom Castle Rock is more than just fitness—we’re a village for moms. What sets us apart is the sense of community and support that runs through everything we do. Yes, we offer fitness programs for every stage of motherhood, from prenatal to postnatal, but we also focus on building connections, friendships, and a space where moms feel seen and heard. It’s a place where moms can come together, not just to get stronger physically, but to build each other up emotionally, too.
I’m most proud of the community we’ve created. Watching friendships form and knowing that we’re a lifeline for many moms makes this journey so rewarding. What excites me is how we continue to grow, whether through new classes, events like Mom’s Night Out, or our partnerships with local businesses that allow us to serve even more moms.
Getting here wasn’t easy. Like any business, there were challenges—balancing family life with entrepreneurship, learning how to grow the business, and navigating setbacks. But I leaned on the support of my family, my village, and the very community we’ve built. Staying adaptable and open to learning has helped me overcome those challenges. I’ve learned that it’s okay to ask for help and that authenticity is key in building trust with your community.
What I want the everyone to know is that Fit4Mom Castle Rock is here for all moms, no matter where they are in their motherhood journey. Our brand is built on inclusivity, support, and empowerment. This isn’t just a fitness program; it’s a space where moms can find their village, grow stronger together, and feel confident in every stage of life. Our story is about lifting each other up, and that’s what makes us special.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Castle Rock is a beautiful community, a suburb of Denver. We have lots of family friendly activities from Art Fest in Festival park, family runs, concerts in the park and more.
We would start the day off with a hike in the mountains, maybe Idaho Springs, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, etc.
Then we would try a restaurant near by before heading back to Castle Rock to enjoy the evening.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Feeling incredibly grateful for the people who have inspired and supported me on this journey to owning my own business! To my amazing husband, thank you for standing by me through the highs, the lows, and every challenge in between—I couldn’t have done it without you. To Lisa Druxman, for creating something so special with Fit4Mom, a culture that empowers and connects women in a way like no other. And to the incredible community of moms I’ve gained over the years, first as a client and now as an owner, thank you for your constant inspiration and support. Together, we truly are stronger!
