Meet Tanner Harris | President & Managing Member

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tanner Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tanner, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
None of us know all the right answers – I try to keep that in mind and surround myself with a team of people that are better than me!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the founder of Blue Nose Aerial Imaging, a veteran-owned nationwide drone services franchise. A former Naval Aviator, my background in flight operations, training, and curriculum development prompted me to build an affordable franchise model during COVID-19 that removed common barriers to entry for innovative pilot-entrepreneurs. I am currently a Boeing 757/767 flight instructor for a legacy airline and a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Middle Tennessee State University. I reside in Denver, CO with my wife and two children.

Recognizing the lack of consistency throughout the emerging drone industry, I built the Blue Nose Aerial Imaging franchise model to help standardize operations, develop brand-name recognition, adhere to a dynamic regulatory environment, and to assemble subject matter experts from a variety of backgrounds to broaden the scope of services offered. By streamlining the path to entrepreneurship and empowering their franchise partners with resources, experts, and applied training, Blue Nose Aerial Imaging has put together a collaborative team that can help enable financial independence for my team members.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The entire Blue Nose team deserves all the credit. Our success is a testament to the commitment, vision, and tenacity of a group of talented pilots and business owners. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we’re at now!
