We had the good fortune of connecting with Veronica Olga Hernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Veronica Olga, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I have always approached the unknown with curiosity. I essentially focused more on figuring out what I did not know and never allowed myself to get discouraged during challenges. I always understood that I didn’t know everything but allowed myself to be authentic to my own strengths. I never compared myself to others and simply did my best.

What should our readers know about your business?
I recently became the published author of Modern Guidance ™️ life Lessons, Insight and Empowering Stories. During my grieving process, I was severely depressed. I started to document the lessons that my brother and I learned through challenges. This led to me sharing stories about my childhood experiences that I had never shared before. Not only did documenting our experiences assist me with my own healing but I realized that this was an opportunity to share his strength with others looking to heal. I recognized that I was never a victim and always a victor. I dedicated this book to him.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely recommend some Colorados nature locations. As a Denver native, I have found peace in our natural environments. Some of Denver’s landmarks are in Downtown Denver. The convention center has the dancing aliens and awesome covered archway for great photos. My favorite restaurants include Los Dos Patrillos, El Chingon, Mizu, and Bao Brewhouse. I would definitely go to Bounce Empire for some fun indoors. We would visit the Denver Athletic Club for some afternoon Yoga and Relaxation.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My older brother that passed away last year has been my greatest inspiration. He and I overcame so many challenges and obstacles together before he left us. He always saw in me what I never saw in myself. He Never let me give up and reminded me that my actions inspired others that had similar ambitions. He believed that our efforts were always greater than our on ambition and purpose. He believed the we were stronger together.
