We had the good fortune of connecting with Winter Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Winter, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks has played a huge role in both my life and career. I like to call it taking a chance on myself because it’s really about investing and believing in who you are and what it is you’re providing to the world. The first chance I took on myself was showing the world who I was completely, not just a role I felt comfortable playing. This involved me embracing my gifts and abilities to write and publish a book about my experiences as well as creating a business that supports others in their own growth process. Over time I began to trust in taking chances on myself because it felt good even though not everyone understood what I was doing at the time. That’s the thing; when you feel something in your heart and soul you gotta go for it!! That’s how I found myself moving to Denver back in 2017 after growing up and living in NYC for most of my adult life. It just continued from there as I began to build my guidance and healing practice in collaboration with others until finally I ventured out on my own.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
SoulCall Coaching is unique from other life coaching and spiritual coaching practices in that it combines channeled guidance, mentoring, master reiki energy healing, shamanic techniques and a customized program for each individual to help them meet their personal goals and create the life they want. I’m most proud that this form of counseling came about due to Covid-19 because I realized that many people were feeling lost about their direction in terms of career, relationships and life in general. I’ve been able to help so many get in touch with their soul’s calling and purpose while supporting them in finding the confidence to take action on their dreams. It wasn’t easy in that I had to let go of my own expectations and perceptions of how to be of service and allow things to come together naturally in the form that my offerings are now. I’ve learned that it’s most important to be flexible when it comes to your business, especially when it’s time to grow and expand.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ooooh!! My favorite spots in Denver are Carbon Cafe in Downtown Denver, Sputnik in Washington Park and of course Moondance Botanicals for tea blends and body products. I also love hanging out by rivers so the biking and running trails along the Platte are really nice! Also Capital Tea is lovely for tea and treats in the morning and afternoon!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes! Shoutout to Moondance Botanicals, a lovely herbal apothecary located in Denver! Candice McClay gave me my start by providing a space where I could teach classes on intuition, do master reiki energy work and hold guidance sessions for customers.
