Meet Xavier George | Rapper

We had the good fortune of connecting with Xavier George and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Xavier, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The habit on believing in myself and continuously going with my music helps me reach to success. Being consistent and trustworthy in music always been my go to to success because I know my story can relate to others.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started music at 11 years old. I would take my mothers work computer and download a recording software lol. I always loved music. from listening to daft punk albums, lil Wayne, three 6 mafia, Eminem and more influenced me to actually try it. I made one song at 11 and it is currently still on youtube to this day lol. I always would listen to the sound more than what the artist are saying so I wanted to understand music deeply so I started making beats as my start as a musician. What sets me apart from others is being very differential and a talented introvert lol. I’ve seen through my life that im actually smart. I would tell myself as a youngin that I might be dumb or I don’t have any talent for my future to be great but I was definitely wrong! Lol. I’ve got to where im at right now because of myself honestly. I’m more up through every fall I had with the music back then from me not dropping music. A lot of mutuals forced me to drop music. But I never listen to them because I’m doing this for myself and I know what my abilities can do when it comes to rap. No lie, I rap everyday atleast for 5 hours. I don’t stop, so for me to do that for a year now, about to go on to 2, makes me tell myself that i am the best and I will. I lesson I learned was to never helped others who don’t need help. Don’t support the ones who gonna use you during your success journey. I’ve learned also to be cautious on who you hang out with or who you call a friend. You will really know who are your friends and is there for you through any hard times you go through. I want the world to know that Dsanta is a rapper form Colorado wanting to tell a story about the scenery, the events, the history, and helping the community. I also want them to know TopGoat Records. A record label I created that is in the works but I know it what be there very soon. there is not one rapper that made it out of Colorado, so I will become the first. Stamp that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them downtown or garden of the gods for one of the days for sure. Mexican food is good here so I would take them to haciendas just because I like the restaurant lol. Definitely Dutch bros for the drinks! Gold camp would be great to hang out and see great scenery so I would take them there. When it comes to people my age they could be partying somewhere lol so I would really take them there for the people in my opinion. I also say downtown for exciting people as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely want to shoutout my mother, she always had my back through all ups and downs. Relationships can sometimes come very tight with family but I will always love her and them before anyone else. I want to shoutout my homie chow who got me my new sound into the music with a song we made in a closet with clothes. I lastly want to shoutout god because without him putting me on this earth to do what I need to do, I wouldn’t be here or seeing my dreams in my head everyday come into reality.
