What’s the right work-life balance for you?

Our community is filled with hard-working, high achieving entrepreneurs and creatives and so work-life balance is a complicated, but highly relevant topic. We’ve shared some responses from the community about work life balance and how their views have evolved over time below.

My balance has changed overtime by really planning everything out, it took me some time to actually sit down and list what is the most important to the least. I often think balance reflects on you, and your lifestyle. You can have everything planned out, but if you don’t follow the plan it will not work out. Balancing between work, school, chores, etc can truly be a challenge, and it takes some time to getting used too but I think everyone can do it. When my husband, Arlie, and I were married, we bought a house in San Ramon, CA, and for the first time we had a house payment. When I first started in the social media realm I thought I had to be on every single day, every single minute. I did not separate my time because I thought that being online meant that I needed to share every single moment of my life.
