Meet Cavi Ornong | Barber Entrepreneur/Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cavi Ornong and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cavi, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was first and foremost to be fully independent. I came from a upbringing of consistency and a relentless work ethic.. I truly thank my Father Jourdan Ornong for those amazing attributes. Barbering was a way also to be in business but at the same time give back to my community, with not only haircuts but also the ability and time to inspire confidence and positive energy and thinking within our youth and community!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The art of barbering is more than just haircuts it is an opportunity to inspire confidence and at the same time healing! From the youth to the elderly, sometimes we as people need to encourage each other to be the greatest version of ourselves. And along with the art of barbering Comes opportunity to encourage and inspire those who lend me an ear. Always Planting seeds of abundance, love and blessings. What sets me apart is my ability to make all positives out of Negative’s. And understanding that sometimes you have to take L’S (losses)to know what W’s (Wins) feel like. Always remembering it’s never a fail, it’s a lesson and a blessing to strengthen and power you up for the next situation you encounter. I have gotten here professionally by changing my mind which in return changed my life! Also attitude and gratitude are daily focuses in my life. I have overcame my challenges by remembering where I came from and what I been though with that being said I’m extremely blessed and thankful. Furthermore discipline, consistency, leadership, accountability, staying humble and eager to learn .And having faith and determination to achieve all My goals! The only thing between the outcome and my goals is “time”. Meaning what am I doing with my time? from the thought of my goal to the outcome of my goal?? With me, there is no time wasted! What u put in is what u get back💯 Put the work in!!! It’s was Never Easy.. anything worth it never comes easy.,especially business. It takes focused energy and attention. I want The world to know “if I can , u can”!!! Your business should be a reflection of You!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To God be the Glory! I’m thankful for my position and have the upmost gratitude to all who have supported me though out my journey and barbering. But Gods plan has lead me though everything! My faith got me through the hardest most darkest moments of my life! For those that are employed with the brand are very much my family and I feel it’s my responsibility to be a great example to those around me.
