We had the good fortune of connecting with Dani Everson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dani, what’s your definition for success?
Success to me is a matter of feeling like the time I spent on a project/relationship was worth while. Even if something “fails” but I learned from the experience I find it to still be successful.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been a stylist for 17 years and a salon owner for 9 years. It hasn’t always been easy but I have always felt proud. I learned to let go of the things I can not control. We are a brand that feels passionate about our employees and relationships.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to eat at Nest at Nurture in the Highlands area and get the Eggy Mess. I then mozy over to Third and Logan for gluten free mochi donuts. I am in love with feel pampered with Amy Donovan massage in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shoutout to Emily Moll from Cedar Salon. Carly from Lovely Bride. Cindy Koder from Dew Salon. Sarabeth Dennis from Sister B’s Salon. LaRissa Chapa from I Like Pretty Hair Salon and Sarah Garcia from She Loves Hair Salon
