Meet Dr Tamara Colebank

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr Tamara Colebank and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr Tamara, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
By starting my own practice I have been able to help thousands of animals live a fuller life, feeling their best. In my practice, I have been able to tailor my care to help pet owners be more aware of when their animal is not acting right to help them identify issues early on, to prevent disease and heal from disease more safely and gently. I feel I am an advocate for animals to help them live without any disease or pain. Many pet animals are loved but there are so many who don’t feel their best throughout their life. With my own practice I have been able able to properly educate owners into the truth about health and disease, as well as treat patients with natural remedies which support the bodies innate intelligence to be healthy. I provide natural and regular veterinary medicine for all animals and its very clear it helps them live happier healthier lives where they age gracefully. Most of the reason animals contract bad diseases is because there are subtle signs that are missed early on. So by teaching pet parents how to be aware of signs, it helps their animals feel better. I also get to teach parents how to treat their animals’ issues naturally, so their pet can truly heal rather than appear better when they are not, which often happens with conventional medications. I feel more education is needed in the world in general on what true health is and how disease progresses, so I am lucky to be able to share that with my clients. There is a lot of misinformation out there regarding pet health and I believe that adds to serious disease. So overall, I am able to help the world and my community by helping animals feel their best which is what they deserve. This is done by helping them with supportive therapies and by educating their parents to care for them with more awareness. This also reflects onto the pet owner as well so they can feel better too!

What should our readers know about your business?
I have a holistic integrative veterinary practice that treats all animals. I am able to identify root causes to heal multple ailments at once rather than looking at the body in seperate parts. I also do a lot of energy healing work which is significantly under rated in medicine. It helps the body function better and makes animals even with disease feel so much better. Its non invasive and very effective.
I went to vet school, got my DVM degree then worked for others for a few years before deciding to start my own practice. It was a lot of commitment and hard work. I perservered.
I learned that the body is very complex and it takes a specifical eye to figure things out. I also learned to trust myself even if others dont agree with you.
I want them to know that holistic vet medicine is the best medicine hands down for a long healthy life. That I can help them understand how to help their animals and themselves live healthier happier lives
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to a vegan gluten free restaurant, go see a concert and go on a hike. Its fun to eat healthy food, be in nature and danc

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shout out to Chi institute in Florida to help spread natural chinese medicine knowledge and my husband david for help along the way!
