We had the good fortune of connecting with Elektrohorse Cdm producer and artist and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elektrohorse, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I have movement called “the party don’t care” that believes in unity and everyone having fun together. This vision has been going on for some time now.. the party don’t care don’t discriminate on race, body type, spiritual or sexual preference. No matter what are differences are, we can all come together during music. We all agree on goid vibes.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Well I created a sub country genre called cdm. Country dance music is an uptempo sound that makes the party go, but there’s also midtempo songs also. Elektrohorse has been around way before all these new artist that’s incorporating all these sounds together with country. But now with the new single feat big Mucci called “it’s a ho down” taking off I’m finally getting my roses.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Chicago first we are going downtown and to a few museums, and food spots. Harolds, giordonos pizza, babas cheese steaks, maxwells polish and maybe a few soul food places.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s so many people that I have come across that has helped me during my rough patches. I’ve been homeless before and living out my studio so for sure shout out to everyone that has helped me get to where I am and also where I’m going. For sure my mom who passed away and my lil brothers and father and cousins.
